"There are a few issues with the listing and the property. Very happy overall with our stay. However, second bathroom door does not latch. No heat register in the second bathroom which makes it very cold. Master bedroom door does not latch. Grounds were not kept up very well. Extensions cords laying across the back sidewalk. Yard is NOT fenced in like the description indicates. We loved the location and the overall layout of the house, just needs some attention. "

"Perfect property to host a get together "

"The location was perfect for the Bourban Trail; we made it to 5 distilleries in 2 days! Beds were comfy, hot tub is great and it was very clean. We appreciated the extra blankets, pillows and soft sheets. The area is beautiful and it’s an easy walk to the lake. We only wished for a few more kitchen utensils and dishcloths and towels. We did a bit of cooking and all like to tidy up. Overall we would all stay here again but for much longer."

"My friends and I booked this property so that we would have accommodations for all of us. The property was clean and spacious. The owner was very communicative. The stay was very smooth overall. Although we were a group of five adults, this property would be ideal for a family or families. Be aware that the property is about a 25 minute Uber ride from Main Street (and the listing does not suggest otherwise). Our group was happy to sacrifice proximity to Main Street in order to have...

"This was a great house for us to stay in. We stayed for work in Louisville. It was about a half hour from downtown and was good for us. Plenty of room. "

"My wife loved the decor it was perfect but not to muuch. Clean tidy and cute overall and good communication. Highly recommend getting up to watch the sunrise! We had clear skies and each morning some fog settled in over the back fields before sunrise, excellant way to start the day!"

"Everything about our getaway was perfect. We arrived to the house around 9 and the keyless entry was flawless. The house was exactly as the pictures described and was perfect for two couples. The decor of the home was nicely created and felt very homey. We spent most of our time on the Bourbon Trail and loved the location so we could get to where we were going in about 30 to 45 minutes. Buffalo Trace was a daily stop and was a 30 minute drive. We’d definitely recommend this home. "

"We all loved the property and had more than enough space for 6 of us to relax after visiting distilleries. Having 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms was perfect when we needed some space or quiet, and there is a good sized tvs in each living room. The bathrooms and kitchens are nicely updated. We walked to dinner in downtown shelbyville - about 4-5 blocks. We would definitely stay there again. "
