"The staff were helpful, polite and actually listened to customers. They seemed to genuinely care about providing customer service. The Expedia website lists the Gamston lock as 0.19 Miles from the City ground, (which is why i booked it for the Football and being close) However reality is that it is located 3.8 miles away. not sure if this is Gamston lock capitalising on match day traffic or an expedia anomoly, just be aware. "The Red Lion was a lovely for me and my partner, we had an amazing stay. The staff at the pub were lovely, especially Aviva who was so friendly and helpful in the restaurant. I give four stars only because the price was a little unreasonable for the time of year (mid-November) when many local attractions are closed. Otherwise I could not recommend this place enough for a lovely weekend break. "
