"I have travelled to over 80 countries. Stayed in thousands of low to mid range accomodations. I am not exaggerating when I say Nabitunich was the best. Dominic and his family were incredible hosts along with his amazing staff. Ive never felt so sad to leave an accomodation. A 10 minute walk to the river for great swimming and a little fishing. Walking amongst the cows, sheep, horses, was awesome. We even made great friends with the family pets. If you walk to the left at the river about 20 minutes you arrive in a protected area with howler monkeys. We saw 8 and even a mama & baby. On the property we saw fireflies, hummingbirds, and Toucans. The mayan ruins of Xunatunich is mere minutes away. We stayed 3 nights. We bought the package that included dinner for only another $9USD for 3. Food was excellent and aithentic. The common areas were amazing and Dominic was always engaging guests in conversation which led to everyone making quick friends. Rooms were clean. The farm has been in the family since before WW1. Thank you Dominic & family. You truly live in a magical destination. From the bottom of our heart our family thanks you & wishes you all the best."

"Gaia has an Amazing location perched above a beautiful waterfall. Three days was sufficient for us—gave us time to tour a Mayan Ruin and canoe thru a nearby cave. The food was outstanding as was the staff. Javier and Freddie really made the stay next level. The road in needs some attention, beyond that our stay was great!"

"Some of the friendliest and most helpful hotel staff I have experienced. Paula greeted me at my late arrival and made sure I had everything I needed both at check in and throughout my stay, including some great excursions. The ever present bar and restaurant crew Elias and Harim were always there with recommendations and friendly conversation. Be it I had to leave early for a tour or needed advice on bars to visit while in town. Rangel, Kevin, Maria and Helen were busy keeping the room clean and the property well kept. If you visit be sure to go see the turtles in the wishing well and tell them hi. "

"Nice comfortable rooms and relaxing pool. Great to have the restaurant there. It's only $10 to take a taxi from the center of San Ignacio. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Booked tours and a ride to the airport for me. Beautiful property. Wish they would plant more trees by the road to drown the noise some. Would definitely stay here again. "
