"we went there to unwind and relax and we were able to do exactly that, the accomodation was suitable, it was quiet and we were comfortable, the owners were helpful and accomodating. I would recommend this location for anyone visiting Hepburn or Daylesford, it's close enough for an easy commute but also remote enough that it's quiet and relaxing."

"The style and view at this property was amazing and relaxing, close to local shops and bathhouse. The outdoor day bed was unusable as it had not been cleaned, full of bird droppings. Toilet was not clean and place was slightly dusty. "

"Communication with host was perfect. Property described as pet friendly however backyard was shared with other guests/dogs - adjacent pet owners had unfriendly dog so we were unable to use backyard which is why we choose the property. Future guests should note that whilst the yard is fully fenced, it is shared with other guests. Beds were comfortable, property a mix of old and modern which we really enjoyed. "A lovely place to stay with all the creature comforts we could have asked for. The property is hosted by the exceptional Tony, who checked in with us after arrival to make sure we were happy and see if we needed anything, and better yet, was only too happy to oblige and help out where he could when we did ask for a favour. "This was wonderfully suitable for our family of 16 (3 generations) to gather. Enough room to be together (in the living/dining area or outside) and plenty of space for smaller groups or individuals to have some quiet time. I was impressed that there was plenty of crockery and the BBQ and picnic boxes were great. We loved the personal touches - sheet music, books, paintings etc, and the seasonal decorations. I can't recommend highly enough!"

Plenty of dining space and large comfortable couch in lounge.Front has quite high steps and parking is beside the old cobble stone gutters found throughout Ballarat, so something to consider if travelling with disabled or elderly.
