"We had a fantastic stay at this home on the Piankatank River. The home was clean and welcoming. It was exactly as pictured, with a wonderful view of the river. The neighbors are great and very friendly. We fished and crabbed on the pier, catching crabs, catfish and a spot croaker. Overall, would stay again. Happy birthday to Dave!"

"This is the second occasion we have stayed at the cottage for a month and can’t wait to return again! Location is heavenly nothing better than sitting on the deck watching the wildlife in the garden and on the York river. The house is also very well situated for Williamsburg with all its attractions. A home from home with regard amenities. Donna and Mike are great hosts and are very responsive to their guests. Would not hesitate to recommend this home."

"Truly amazing stay! The house is terrific and a great place to be out of the way of the bustle, while still remaining close enough to nearby activities. Like i said, we were blown away by how much better the property is than the listing gives it justice! It was a bit confusing to find the first time, as the number isnt displayed on the road. But if you have sharp eyes, you'll find it. If you want to swim, pay attention to what the tides are doing. But the water was amazing. Only true complaint: many of the windows were hard to operate, or almost completely inoperable. But this had an extremely limited impact on our enjoyment of our time there. Check in and check out also super easy. Would stay again!"

"It was very convenient to be able to have our dog with us. We enjoyed the excellent buffet breakfast.. so good!.. we enjoyed eating by the pool & a swim afterwards, plus our dog could be out there with us."

"This place is absolutely perfect for a family stay. The sunsets and views are fabulous. The porch is huge and is the perfect place to watch the sunset and feel the breeze off the water. The cottage is very spacious and extremely clean. If not having immediate access to the water isn’t a big deal to you then this is the perfect place. We had family staying in Whitestone so we drove over every morning and accessed the water there. We would definitely stay here again and are already planning to book next year!"

"We stayed here during a visit to the historic triangle, Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown with our two daughters and two dogs. Maybe we didn't read it right, but we unexpectedly. We're thrilled to find a fence in yard. The dock was nice for fishing and while we didn't use the boats, it's nice that they were there as well. The house was clean and plenty big for all of us. It's about 40 minutes to Williamsburg and a little further to Busch gardens but we were able to have all the amenities of a riverfront property and not be too far from all those attractions. A+"
