"The property itself was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was really nice and cosy, and had everything we needed - a proper kitchen for cooking, a coffee machine, a modern bathroom, and a private outdoor courtyard for relaxing or having a meal. The restaurant connected to the resort was really nice also and had a great happy hour. It would be amazing if they served breakfast too! We didn’t use the pool so can’t comment on that. The location was great in terms of beach access and being so close to the Blairgowrie shops. However the shops were quite small and didn’t have many dining options. There were also some drunk people hanging around outside the resort and being aggressive to people passing in the afternoon/evening and I felt too unsafe to walk to get dinner so I sent my partner. My partner worked out that the drunk people were staying a couple of doors down, they weren’t locals, so not an ongoing issue but unfortunate timing for us. All in all I’d definitely stay again though! "

"After quite a time searching for a property we could actually afford, we came across Moody’s Motel. So glad we did. Although on the main road, this property was a delight to stay at. I was a little worried when I saw they supplied ear plugs but needn’t have worried. We were not bothered by road noise from early evening onwards and had a good sleep. The room was bright and a good size. It was also well appointed with crockery and cutlery supplied. The bed was very comfortable, water was hot and WiFi good. For the price it is really good. No-one was at reception so we didn’t get to see anyone but the contactless check in was easy and instructions sent by text, very clear. Parking is right outside your door. The property is within walking distance of a few shops and a number of restaurants. We would definitely stay again."
