Upon entering this coastal and stylish lower level one bedroom one bath condo you will notice the open floor plan. The property was fully renovated in 2023 with attention paid to every detail to insure you have the best vacation experience. This renovated property features spectacular views of the ocean located across the street. The new kitchen, dining room, and living room have everything you’ll need for your Beach Holiday. You will find a kitchen that has all you need to prepare a light snack or full meal. A cozy electric fireplace with a large 43 inch television with streaming content. An area with a desk is provided should you need a little work space during your stay. There is one large bedroom with a cozy queen size bed and a queen size sofa bed in the living room accommodates two extra guests. There are a myriad of options for outdoor living; patios with Adirondack chairs for lounging, and small tables for outside eating. In addition to the patios there are plenty of outside shared amenity spaces. There’s a covered gazebo with a state of the art barbecue, a fish cleaning station in the back of the property for those that like to go fishing, clamming, or crabbing and a wood fire pit by the creek. Please note we do not supply firewood but it can be purchased at the corner store. Behind the property is Terrill Creek so relax in one of the chairs provided and listen to the saltwater creek. You may even see an otter or two swim by.
Palmetto Shore hosts 5 units in total and the entire property can be rented out for a business retreat, friends get away, or large family vacation. It will host 20 people in total if your rent all 5 units. Pets are allowed for a $100.00 non refundable pet fee per pet (max 2)
The neighborhood is charming and full of little seaside cottages. It is possible to walk for miles on the beach, to the Birch Bay State Park. Birch Bay State Park is a 194-acre Washington state park located nine miles south of Blaine in Whatcom County. The park has 8,255 feet of saltwater shoreline on Birch Bay and 15,000 feet of freshwater shoreline along Terrell Creek. Check out our guide to the area. There is also a boat launch at the Park.
You can rent bikes or bring your own and because you are across the street from the public beach access it is a perfect place to launch your kayak or paddle board. A small grocery store, fun beach bars, fabulous coffee shop, restaurants, and a liquor store are a short drive away, bike ride or walkable. Just a little over a mile each way. The Semiahmoo resort and marina and the little town of Blaine Washington are minutes away and only a few miles from the Canadian border.
