Hotel is well positioned and staff are lovely.
We did arrive at 2pm which was our check in time to be told rooms would not be ready till later, returned just after 3 and shortly room keys were given.
Rooms are well sized but could do with an upgrade - we had the old style room but with excellent sea views which we couldn’t fault.
Beds were comfortable and linen clean although dated, bathroom was fine but dated with pink facilities, shower could do with being renewed or even simply descaled, towels could do with a revamp, years of being over dried small, thankfully we took our own. Guest rooms could do with soft closures being added to stop other residents from slamming there doors all hours of the day and night.
Breakfast was excellent and great selection and service - teapots could do with a overhaul as stained and dirty.
A few places could do with a clean, window sills and windows.
We spent a few hours in the sun lounge and tea/coffee and The Park House Club Sandwich. This as very disappointing, quality of ingredients were poor, cheapest white bread and inedible bacon. Overall anything of the light meals menu could do with a upgrade, we were going to eat in the restaurant that night but this put us off doing so.
