"Mary Villa was comfortable, spacious, clean and easy. There was everything we needed in the kitchen. The house was warm, the beds were comfortable and the location was superb, easy access to restaurants and shops with a car or on foot. We were 12 adults and there were plenty of beds and bathrooms. "

"Clean and basic with our needs met for the two night stay. Could be cared for more. No fly screens on windows. Front and back gardens/yard unkempt with long grass, weeds and spider webs all over fences. Cobwebs inside the Unit. Bedroom door didn’t close as extra bed blocked the door. "House was great but needs a few upgrades. Parking was tricky as very steep driveway so large cars would have a big problem. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need. Beds were comfy. Shops 4 min away was a bonus. Pity we had to provide our own wood but loved the fire place. Overall had a great time & was happy with our stay."

"Avoid this place, I had a horrible experience with this host I stayed at Amaroo Mountaintop Villa for Christmas 2023. The stay itself was pleasant and uneventful. The host (accommodated.com.au) requested a damages bond as part of my stay, which I transferred to them. After my stay, the bond was not returned to me. When I contacted the host, they replied with a series of misleading claims, including (1) claiming the bond was never paid, then (2) re-quoting my original invoice, but with higher...

"Super cute and quirky little cottage with everything we needed for a weekend. The back of the house where the bathroom is is not heated and it was FREEZING. The location was great for getting around but was a bit too close to the main road for my liking. It's also attached to the cottage next door and the neighbour was very noisy."

"Mimosa Cottage is a beautifully appointed, comfortable and warm home. There are so many places in the home to gather together or simply sit alone quietly. The heating is excellent, although the fire ran out of gas while we were there. Nevertheless, the air conditioning kept us quite warm. The kitchen had all we needed (except matches for the fire pit). "Nicole's cottage is one of those rare stays where you immediately feel you have been invited into the family home. Everything is there, clean & in good order. Location terrific, away from any tourist crowding and the sometimes noisy GWH. Certainly my best stay of several in Blackheath. Finally, Nicole is a great host. "

Get this place booked !

"Simply superb. What a great facility, location, set up, and service. Stayed 3 nights and was fantastic. Great location for planning hikes etc and sightseeing. We had a first floor studio and was remarkably spacious and well equipped. The balconies front and rear great for afternoon relax after a hike. Added bonus of wild Cockatoo cheekily tapping on window and I fed them some seed and bread. The grounds are spotless and well maintained Out and about, we dined in Katoomba but if you want to prepare food at the studio there’s a combo microwave etc. coffee maker, kettle and fridge available. Really is a fantastic set up, and should we ever come back to Oz we would definitely book this place for longer. Some fantastic walks.. make sure you go to Minnehaha Falls for a swim in rock pool etc . "
