Enjoy a private residence in the heart of Blackheath. Be surrounded by gum trees which host an array of birdlife. Spectacular Sunrises at Govetts Leap look out down the road and Sunsets nearby at Hargraves Lookout. The property is a 5 minute walk to the Blackheath village town centre and less than a 10 minute walk to Blackheath train station. For hikers and climbers in the Blue Mountains, Blackheath is a fantastic base. It is also a great base for day trips to the NSW Central West.
The space
Woodchoppers is a perfect place to relax and unwind and is ideally suited for couples, solo travellers or a couple of friends. Maximum guests are 2.

Access is private to the right side of the main residence via a well lit side pebble path leading to the rear of the residence. Cooking facilities are a fully stocked kitchenette with an outdoor barbecue as your cooking facilities.
The lounge room has a leather L seater chaise and you will have access to free WIFI and Netflix, Stan, Disney+, Amazon Prime and other networks through the smart TV. The lounge room also has a sliding door which can be closed.
You will experience a king sized bed with a luxurious mattress with quality bed linen. The lounge area is seperate from the bedroom.
We have a kitchenette but NO INDOOR COOKING facilities. (We do have a bbq and 1 gas burner out on the patio). We have glasses, bowls & plates, cutlery, chopping boards, pots and pains etc. We also have a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle.
Woodchoppers was affected heavily by flooding in March 2021 and was closed off for 6 weeks. New wooden flooring was laid and some aesthetic changes were made.
The bathroom was renovated in August of 2021 and was my little Covid project.
The patio has a 4 seater dining set. We have a bbq with 1 gas side burner. We provide bbq wipes and a brush to ensure the bbq is always clean for the next use.
I provide suggestions of hikes, places to eat, places of interest etc and will message you all this information upon your booking.
Check out is strictly at 10am unless communicated with me. I will always do my best to allow a later check out but due to certain periods we are always booked so have a quick turnover.
Check in is at 2pm and if your space is available earlier then I will message you to let you know.
All information is sent to you 3 days before check in. The welcome guide is also available in the app. Access, check-in, and checkout instructions are released 3 days before check-in, but all other information is available.
PARKING is on the street.
For your reassurance, we have committed to the Covid Cleaning Protocol and we are committed to cleanliness.
Please note, we do not charge a cleaning fee so we ask that you keep your space reasonably clean. We do appreciate it and have been fortunate to have our guests be respectful.
Lastly, I’m always just a message away. I love being a host and it’s always nice when we know people have enjoyed themselves on our property.
