"Great getaway for our family visiting the area for a Hunter Mountain ski trip. House was perfect for a party of 10. The mountain was about 30 min away which we didn’t mind the drive to start our day. Loved the indoor sauna and massage chairs! And a great kitchen for entertaining and staying in. "

"This review was initially going to be a lower rating (3), but the interactions with the host made up some of that difference. I do think overall this rental is a good value, but there are definitely some issues. I would rent this house again once they are fixed.The good. The listing allows dogs, includes quite a few beds, has plenty of space for post-slopes activities (board / card games, drinks, and meals), and has a hot tub. The property has plenty of space out back, though we weren’t able to walk / see all of it (snow). I was late checking in, but the host still waited around until arrival. Checking out, the host shoveled and cleared the driveway; unexpected and certainly appreciated.The bad. The house was clean, but some rooms needed some attention. Not that big of an issue personally, but worth mentioning. The listing advertises five queen bedrooms and one 2x double room. The actual room config is five queens, no two doubles. The doubles are in the five rooms, so beds match but rooms don’t. The host’s child lives in a detached building on the property, not mentioned in the listing. The two biggest issues: one bedroom has a faulty outside access door, and that the banquet room is not accessible. The room’s balcony door doesn’t close properly, letting a lot of cold air in 24/7. The banquet hall is pictured in the listing, but is boarded off / off limits. That should be mentioned in the listing, as it was another big reason I chose this rental over others in the area."

"I loved everything about this place ! The room the giraffe house it’s so gorgeous ! Sean the man who takes care of and manages the property is so knowledgeable. He gave my boyfriend and I a tour around the whole property with his goats and when I tell you this man knows the property HE KNOWS THE PROPERTY & history of the area. The experience wouldn’t have been the same with out him. "

"Very spacious cabin perfectly near all the must see towns in the Catskills! John and Marion were very attentive and made themselves available for any issues as well as gave great recommendations for what to do in town. Definitely plan on returning! "

"The house was beautiful, clean, stocked with essentials, cozy. We definitely enjoyed the fireplace and wood was provided, which was so convenient! The beds were very comfortable! Our family really enjoyed to gaming table that was there…..lots of competition was going on! Thanks for a great stay!"
