"Positives: The 3 apartments are newly decorated so they are clean, fresh and stylish. Great position, quiet spot but quickly into town. Negatives: As a whole house, the appearance is only let down by the office like industrial stairs and the layout of the ground floor flat, requiring access to the courtyard rear via a bedroom.A huge disappointment was the 2 hosts turning up at the property during our stay to sort bins, something in the porch and requesting access to wash their hands. "Hockwold hall is the perfect accomodation for your next group getaway. We loved the set up and everything this property had to offer e.g. seating for 24 people, cellar which is perfect for a dance room into the little hours, a large kitchen and bbq area, games room and music room! Richard the owner was great at communicating with us and was the perfect host - only popping in when we needed assistance or to check whether we needed anything. We couldn't have found a more perfect property!"

"On arrival we found out the room had changed and as we'd veen looking forward to this specific room, we were initially disappointed. The staff however went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay and helped make it special with free drinks and unlimted golf. The room we were given was lovely and unique. We enjoyed it as much as we would have the other one i am sure. There is building ongoing to the new spa and to some rooms but it was never an issue and the noise was limited to reasonable times so not to disturb guests. The play area for kids looked epic, the golf was fun and the breakfast was fantastic with loads of choice and food made to order as well as a buffet. We had a short drive to the Dabaling Duck snd visted Rising castle, Castle Acre and took in the beauty of the small villages and scenary. All in all a lovely place and location to explore."

"Very friendly staff, the food was amazing we had fish and chips with peas the fish was a good size portions couldn’t finish it. The room was brilliant well fitted out had a small kitchen that we didn’t expect to have, the views were amazing of the church. Every where was very clean.. will be booking again.. to all staff thank u for giving us an amazing stay "
