"The hotel is close to the train station, which is convenient. Everyone at the hotel desk was helpful, cheerful, and competent. They made check-in and check-out easy and fun. "Nice place to stay in the Black Forest region. Clean comfortable room. Check in was a small challenge due to language barrier, but quickly done. Restaurant food and service was great. There is no elevator to second floor in one building, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the set of stairs. The St Margen cloister museum nearby is a must see for any clock enthusiasts."

"The front desk lady that checked us in was very nice. Limited parking out front, but it’s free and we got a spot. Rooms are nice, though a little dated. Slow internet, but you’re in the heart of the Black Forrest so it is what it is. Overall great location and friendly staff. I would absolutely recommend staying here. Easy short drive to the buses for the Christmas market too!"

"Very nice hotel with a great sauna that wasn’t super busy, restaurant had delicious food with a nice views, private beach on the lake was really enjoyable and even though our room was 300m up a very steep hill (and we had no car) the views were well worth it. Only downside was there was no spa treatments or massages available as the person was on leave. This town is definitely a place where you want to indulge in such activities, especially in peak August season. Would recommend staying here....
