Great retreat
The house was great, wonderfully outfitted, very clean and about two minutes from downtown Black Mountain. We enjoyed the porch in the mornings and the house was perfect for our knitting retreat.

Nice little getaway
Everything stated within the site was provided. Comfortable for two adults. Loved the front porch. Nice neighbors, quiet street. Great location. Just a few miles to downtown Black Mountain. Good restaurants (Trailhead Restaurant twice), lovely little shops and nice people.

Enjoyed the stay
Communication with the owner was seamless and check-in was easy. The property was clean, modern, and well-appointed. I enjoyed my stay and the location was convenient to getting around. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. My only recommendation would be some sort of shade/curtain/blinds on the front door.

Perfect for a small family get away
This property feels new and clean. The washer and dryer were really helpful and the rooms worked well for us and our two boys. If taking a family with multiple children, it can be a little bit of a tight space, but the closet space was free and clear to put suitcases and gear out of the way and the porch is an additional space when we needed to spread out a little bit. It was perfect for what we needed on a get away for a few nights where we were out exploring and hiking and a clean safe space to come back to. It's also very close to great hikes, good coffee and Asheville.

Overall, the place was very clean and well maintained. Cory was a great host and even reached out when we had bad weather, which resulted in a tree falling next to the house.

We loved our stay here! The kitchen was adorable and the cool bathroom was a win! The location was quiet but not too far off the beaten path. Quick drive into town as well. Highly recommend!

Very nice stay at this new little house!
We stayed here for a night so that we could explore the area over a weekend. House is just 3 min from downtown Black Mountian and only about a 20 min drive to Asheville. The house is very nice. Clean, brand new appliances, modern feel. We had trouble with the VRBO app when I booked the reservation. VRBO had accepted my payment but the host had not received any information about our booking. Dealing with VRBO on the phone was a nightmare, but when I directly contacted the host, they were more than helpful and understanding and made sure we got into our accommodations. 10/10 host and house. 2/10 VRBO experience.

Very nice place. Good location. Had everything we needed. The only suggestion would be to add a blind or curtain to the front glass door for more privacy. Enjoyed the modern style decor.

We had a wonderful trip to the mountains. The VRBO was very close to Black Mountain and easy access from the highway. Pet friendly - which is a PLUS. Would love to stay again!

This was super clean and functional for our stay. The bed was not the most comfortable. I believe a shade over front door would provide some privacy/security. Front porch was nice, too. Thanks!

We had a great experience in Black Mountain. This property was a quaint getaway that offered modern conveniences. The whole property is new and clean and situated in a very safe area. We will definitely use again. The host was a very quick with communication.

The property was well designed and maintained! Was hoping for a better view of the mountains but you can see them through the trees and we weren’t promised a Mountain View but it’s quite close to town which is nice.

Very nice mountain stay
We were in Black Mountain visiting our daughter who is a camp counselor at Camp Crestridge for girls this summer. Only 2.5 miles down the road from Camp Crestridge. Conveniently located to all things outdoors and to the downtown area of Black Mountain. Loved our stay and found this rental wonderful.
