Guest Access:
You have access to everything at Arapaho Forest Lodge except a locked supply closet, garage, and basement (access the Gear Hut from a curtained portion of the basement).
No fumbling with keys; self-check-in is available with a digital keypad. There is a Ring camera on the front door for your security.
Privacy and quiet are hallmarks of this home that backs up to the National Forest. The lodge is completely surrounded by the forest. Walk toward the backyard, and you are in the National Forest with hundreds of acres available to wander.
Free parking is available in a large driveway for up to three vehicles. Luggage can be loaded through front and back doors, and outdoor gear can be safely stored in the Gear Hut located next to the garage.
The Neighborhood:
This is a mountain community, so all houses are set back in their own wooded acreage, which provides significant privacy and beauty. It’s not unusual to see moose, elk, and deer in the area!
Peak to Peak Retreat is located just minutes from downtown Nederland, close to shopping, restaurants, breweries, The Carousel of Happiness, liquor stores, grocery stores, and much more. Boulder and Denver are a short, scenic mountain drive away. Hosts will happily offer personalized suggestions based on your group’s interests.

Getting Around:
We have 2 large driveways with plenty of parking. The 2nd driveway is ideal, as you can pull up and be 10 steps from the front door. Super convenient to load and unload.
Access to Hwy 119 is only 2 minutes away. Fantastic location to get to all your adventures.
Other Things to Note:
» The house has a ground-floor unit with a separate entrance used by friends/family.
» Rest assured, there are no shared amenities or interactions
» Never been an issue as you can see from all 5-star reviews!
» For guest safety, there is a ring camera at the front door.
» Self-check-in access using digital keypad.
» Mountain terrain can be rocky, icy, and slippery.
» No parties permitted, per Airbnb regulations.
» No pets permitted. Severe allergies in our family.
» Maximum occupancy is 10 guests
» NO SMOKING inside or out due to extremely high fire danger
» If there is evidence of smoking in or outside of the property, $200 fee applies.
» 4-WHEEL/ALL-WHEEL DRIVE is a must NOVEMBER-APRIL. The roads are gravel, and the driveway is steep. (See photos.)
» Starlink WIFI: This house is in the mountains. Although rare, Wi-Fi can be affected by the wind and snow. Intermittent service at times is beyond our control as these mountains have a mind of their own!

We are available to provide as much information about the area or the property as you need. We want your stay to be exceptional and your adventures to be amazing, so whatever that interaction looks like for you, that is our goal! We live nearby and can be available for special circumstances that arise. Booking members of the party must be 25+ years old.
The first floor of the house has a separate entrance and drive for frequent family and friends that visit us. There are NO shared spaces or interaction.
