Enjoyed some good food in the pub along with a very drinkable bottle of red. Great atmosphere. Bed was very comfortable. It is only self serve continental breakfast of cereal, yoghurt and toast. But price we paid was ok for that. Bad points - road was noisy but ear plugs sorted that out. Also need an eye mask as the roof window doesn’t have blind but apart from those points, I’d stay here again. "

"The stay was as usual excellent . The only unfortunate issue, which was not the hotels fault, was a couple of rather loud and obnoxious people in the bar (who were not guests) that were verbally abusive to staff , using unfortunate language. This will not colour my opinion of the hotel and staff who are wonderful. Thank you for a lovely stay and a special mention to Joseph in the bar who looked after us all evening."

"I’ve stay at this hotel when it had the previous owners. Even know it’s in a middle of having a refurbishment the hotel was extremely clean and tidy, only one problem was the pillows being extremely thin. It was a really nice touch to have a kettle in the room but maybe have spoons instead of wooden sticks. But apart from that it’s all coming along nicely, i definitely prefer the key card instead of an actual key. Me and my partner will be back!"
