"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is very convenient to the Christmas market and in a central location to get around the major sites. The room was very comfortable with a nice bathroom and walk in shower. There is a taxi stand not even 5 minutes away although we walked most everywhere. The hotel staff were very kind and welcoming which made our stay memorable. In particular, Sylvia at the reception desk went above and beyond to help us with last minute dinner reservations at the hotel. We had a wonderful dinner thanks to her! I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again. "

"We came to Trier for the Christmas market and to visit the Roman sites. The hotel was ideally placed for both. There's no restaurant but the hotel buffet breakfast was excellent and catered well for a gluten intolerance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking in the underground carpark was fine if a little tight to navigate in a bigger car. The staff were excellent and helpful. They spoke perfect English but humoured our schoolboy German! All round good."

"The hotel is great value for money. Some of the rooms appear to be undergoing renovation at the moment. My room overlooked the river, with a nice view of the old Roman bridge. It's a short but interesting walk to the hauptmarkt, Karl Marx's birthplace and museum, Trier Dom, Porta Nigra, and other sights. I'd happily stay here again. "
