"The hotel looks like a tiny hamlet of old farm buildings which have recently been renovated. A definite rustic feel to it. Parking is 100 m in front of the hamlet. Hotels.com failed to list this hotel as having a restaurant. As such I ate junk food on the way to the hotel, only to find the perfect restaurant for me. I made space for a delicious salmon salad and wonderful glass of Riesling! The room was good and I slept very well. The only missing utility which I always need as a business traveller, was a desk. I suspect, this would also effect females needing a dressing table. I was shown an alternative room with a tiny glass table. Anyway, it didn't spoil my stay. Wonderful staff. Not too expensive. Great hotel and I would definitely stay again."

"As a fan of Leica cameras, a trip to Wetzlar to see the Leica museum was a bucket list item of mine. Staying in the Ernst Leitz hotel, was amazing! It was very clean with a lot of character. The room itself was very spacious and the staff was very accommodating. In my opinion, photographers MUST visit the museum, and stay at this hotel."

"This hotel was our favorite in Germany. The room was amazing and the location so convenient to walk around and explore the area. "

"Loved the cherry forest, the local restaurant, the open family space, the hot tub, just everything was wonderful. The only difficulty was the steep slope of the upstairs bedrooms which made for quite a few head bumps. Also the slippery stairs (watch out!). It was a perfect location for visiting our family and sightseeing."

"We rented 3 rooms. Unfortunately 1 of them didn't have working lights on the main area working and they couldn't get someone to come fixe them in the next 2 days. It was ok we made it work. Other than that everything was great"
