"I booked the double for one person, it was very small but perfect for me. THe gentleman on entering at reception was lovely and helpful and the blonde girl on leaving was also lovely. Basic Irish Tv Channels, No wardrobe to hang clothes or a full length mirror and no extra lock on the door these were my only issues. The bed was spotless and I had a great sleep. Bathroom lovely with a great shower. Coffee machine and kettle with Lyons tea - yahoo!! Fridge not very cold but holds small fresh milk...

"Very happy with our stay in Abbeygate Townhouse. The rooms were spotless and fresh. In an excellent location we were only a 5-7 min walk from eyre square. Although this hotel is self check in it is very easy to carry out and when there was a problem with the key card machine there was a lovely man there within 10 minutes who helped us and was very friendly and professional. The beds were like a cloud of air to sleep in. All together a wonderful stay and I would 100% recommend to others. We will...

"I was visiting for the wedding of some friends and I must say that my stay was excellent from start to finish. The service and attention was beyond exemplary. The room was clean, cozy, well kept, bed was beyond comfortable, and the atmosphere inviting. This was my first trip overseas and I absolutely loved it. The communal areas were clean and the staff was very helpful in calling cabs and assisting the Uber eats guy with finding me lol. There is a bus stop right down the street that will take you into town. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ballyvaughn. Ray is a great host--check in was a breeze and the location of the house is terrific-- close to town, but quiet--with great access to Bishop's Quarter--a lovely strand for walking- The view from the house couldn't be prettier. This would be a great spot for a family, as there is plenty of room. We will be back for sure."

"This is a must stay if your traveling to Galway and needing a place for the week or night. Easy parking, friendly staff, much nicer showers than most I've stayed at across Ireland. Only "small" complaint the TV size was a little disappointing but I was only in for the night on a work trip so didn't affect my stay."

"We picked them from a mere Google search, and booked for two nights. The room was so clean & nice. When our Valentines evening stay canceled on us, they managed to keep us in our same room for an additional night. Our room was quickly serviced each morning when we went down to breakfast, and the staff was very friendly. "
