"We had a brilliant stay and we would certainly recommend. Lovely location. Really peaceful and green. Plenty of parking. Check in was fast and friendly. Room was excellent. Spacious. Comfortable. Really nice and quiet. No disturbance or noise at all. Spotlessly clean. Great shower. Will certainly return!! "

"Great location. Handy for the station and about 10-15 minutes walk into the City Centre Noisy in the morning with the cleaning staff calling to eachother, doors banging, etc. 9.00am on a Sunday felt way too early to be listening to all that. NB I thought I had chosen a room with a bath - apparently you have to specify that as a "special request" 🙄 "

A gem and a special experience.

"Second visit and a firm favourite. Stunning historical property in really great condition with many original features, providing a magical ambiance. Lovely, well-appointed rooms. Best of all is the service, from friendly, helpful & courteous people, leaving a special feel to the place, without ever feeling stuffy or pretentious. Impossible to fault. "
