There was a very strong cleaning chemical smell in my room. So strong I had to open the window and turn on the AC to try and ventilate. The inside of my nose burned throughout the night breathing the air. Don’t get me wrong I love the smell of a clean room, but this was overkill. Also, this is a very old property. Walls are thin, guests were loud. The next day I booked another property for the duration of my stay in Birmingham.
