Perfect Cabin Stay
They thought of everything when they listed this cabin for vacation rental. It has everything you need to enjoy some time away. The feel of a rustic cabin in the woods with the accommodations and cleanliness of a 5 star hotel. I can’t recommend this location enough!

Wonderful visit
We were in town for a travel baseball tournament and this turned out to be the perfect place to stay. Enough to do when we weren’t my at the field and super relaxing. Everyone had their own space to hang but also had enough room to hang as a family. If we ever have to play in Alabama again, we will definitely stay here again!!

Easter Getaway
This was our second time to stay at this property. Despite the rain we still managed to have a wonderful time! This is the place where we have now taken both of our grandkids to fish for the first time. It’s very cozy and relaxing and in close proximity to plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and fun things to do. We will definitely be going back!

The cabin is lovely and private, the grounds serene, and the lake is a joy -- the perfect getaway. The Canada geese were an unexpected treat. Caught lots of bream and a couple of trout.

Duke’s Cabin A Wonderful Retreat
I had the privilege of knowing John Duke and had opportunities to visit with him at the cabin. Having firsthand experience staying at this wonderful place, when John’s children decided to open Duke’s Cabin to others, I was so pleased! Duke’s Cabin is a special place to relax and enjoy life with beautiful surroundings. My daughter looks forward to our cabin trips and that makes me really happy. Anytime I can make a special memory with her, I’m all for it! Duke’s Cabin is our special place! Make a reservation! You’ll love it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Dukes Cabin! It is quaint and cozy and the perfect place to decompress. The property is beautiful- feels like you’re really on an old farm!! The fishing pond made for wonderful memories and a beautiful views! We’d definitely go back!

Great cabin in the woods with awesome fishing pond
This is a great getaway cabin in the woods with fishing pond loaded with largemouth bass and bluegill. So get down to the pond early in the morning. The property is secluded in the woods very well-maintained. It is gated so you feel very safe and secure at night while you’re there. I was a little concerned about the mosquitoes around the pond but we didn’t see a one the whole time we were there. The owner did reach out to me to make sure everything was OK and if we needed that was very thoughtful of her. The cabin was very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking our coffee in the morning or relaxing in the evening. I definitely give it an overall five star rating and if we ever go back I would stay there again. Bob Brown

We stayed a week me my Mom, Brother and his wife. Family Reunion at Dogwood Grove Baptist Church in Adger. Wonderful time second time staying so fun and relaxing.

Great escape
Cabin was just as pictured and we had an awesome time. The pond was wonderful & we enjoyed grilling dinners on site. We will definitely return the next time we are in the Birmingham area!

Missing twin bed
We loved the cabin, but there were three beds listed in the pictures. We were missing the twin bed for our teenage son to sleep on. So he agreed to sleep on the sofa. I just hate we paid for only two beds and one of us had to sleep on a sofa. We also checked to see if they made into beds but neither one did.

Perfect Getaway!
I stayed here with my mom and teenage daughter for Christmas and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more! The house is tucked away on a beautiful piece of property with a large pond, yet you are very close to all the amenities of the city. Honestly it is so beautiful and serene at the house that we rarely left. The house is exceptionally clean and has everything you need. If you’re going to be in the Birmingham area, I highly recommend staying here. We are already talking about another visit in the spring!
