Take a dip into the lovely Mediterranean sea before breakfast!
This is a water's edge, spacious, stylishly furnished apartment commanding magnificent views of the historical Malta Grand Harbour. Accommodation consists of a spacious living room (equipped with TV, DVD, stereo and wireless internet connection) and adjoining dining area. Large doors from the living room and dining area open onto the balcony, offering splendid 180 degree views of the Malta Grand Harbour. The open-plan luxury kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances. Sleeping accommodation consists of a master bedroom (double bed) with bathroom en suite, a second bedroom with 2 single beds and a third bedroom with one single bed. The apartment is child-friendly, with various necessities for a baby such as cot, baby changer and baby chair. A car parking space is included in the rental.

Vittoriosa (also known as 'Birgu') forms part of the 'three cities' offering quality restaurants, wine bars, museums and an authentic Maltese environment, all within walking distance of the apartment.

Transportation: If you intend to rent a car, a parking space is available in the garage underlying the apartment.

Alternatively, buses leave regularly from Vittoriosa to Valletta from where buses leave to all over the island. A very pleasant way of reaching Valletta is by water taxi or by Ferry bus, both within walking distance of the apartment.

Great apartment with amazing views right next to Fort San Angelo. Underground onsite parking was a huge plus. Apartment was clean, bright and inviting. Great for family vacation. Close to the water taxi over to Valetta.

March in Malta
The apartment location was great. Right beside Fort St. Angelo, a short walk to the water ferry to Valletta. The apartment was well outfitted and Francis was very kind to have stocked the fridge with a few essentials., as we arrived late in the evening. If the weather is warmer you can a dip in the harbour a few feet from the official entrance to the Mansions.

Wonderful apartment with swim area at the front door!
We are from the US, a family of 5 (parents and 3 young adult children), and this was our first time in Malta. We loved this apartment. Francis, the father of the property owner, met us outside on our first day and showed us all around the apartment, introduced us to the security guards, etc. The apartment is just as described, very nicely appointment and has so many extras for kids, the beach, etc. Our favorite thing about this property was the fact that there is a swimming area right out the front door! It is not a touristy area at all, but locals were swimming there night and day. We also went for a dip at the end of most days and it was so refreshing! The location of this apartment is wonderful, the area is so lovely and historic, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Outstanding apartment
3 bed apartment great for a twin, single and double with 2 bathrooms. Superb position with Valetta view, balcony over the water where you can safely swim. Basement parking and security. We had such an amazing time and would love to go back!

Stay on the quick side of the bay and enjoy the amazing views
Francis met us out front and led us to the private parking spot in the garage underneath the apartment. He took us up the apartment's private elevator to a fantasic apartment. The view at night and day from the living area is wonderful. Many dining spots right outside. Or take the water taxis, 3 minute walk over to Valletta for 2 euros. Stay here.

Wonderful Apartment
Spacious, well-equipped apartment in wonderful location. Connie and her father were a pleasure to communicate with and kindly stocked the apartment with some basic foods and water for our arrival. Birgu is a lovely area and easy to take the ferry to Valletta. Great view of the harbor and the Kalkara marina. Plenty of things to see and do in the area and lots of restaurants nearby. Couldn’t ask for a better apartment or location.

We loved the view and locality of the property and the attentiveness of our hosts but were disappointed by the bed linen and soft furnishings - this could be improved by replacement of sheets and towels and some of the beds especially the room with two singles -the apartment in need of a freshen up and update

Four days in Sunny Malta
We really enjoyed our stay in Malta , we thought we would have found a landscape different from that we found and we were pleasantly surprised to find such a beautiful and historical atmosphere throughtout the island! The apartment we rented is very large and very well equipped , it is settled in the perfect place : breathtaking view of the opposite cliffs , peaceful surrounding at a stone thrown from the best sight , cafes and restaurant in the islands :we really much liked " Two and half lemon" and " Dom Berto" , two stylish and very cool restaurants in front of the beautiful marina ...would come back soon ! Fantastic apartment - divine location
We chose the apartment to spend our family Christmas as the reviews were all so amazing. Everything that has been said it so true. Our family of five (all adults) had a wonderful time. The apartment is spacious and well arranged to ensure privacy when required, with good communal spaces for socialising and dining and a lovely balcony to enjoy the spectacular views. Connie's father Francis met us as arranged and explained everything fully. The location is perfect - easy to access the ferry to Valletta, good eating/drinking spots in Birgu. It is so very quiet and relaxing in this old and very beautiful part of Malta - I would highly recommend a visit.

Perfect Place to stay in Malta
All too often the photos & decriptions do not match the reality but this apartment is even better than it appears. It literally sits on the waterfront and the views are not just beautiful but mesmerising. Connie the host was so very kind as we had to change our dates at the last moment due to a family emergency. With her help we were able to change to a later date and met by her very charming Father when we arrived. The apartment was spotless and luxurioius. It was an easy walk to restaurants & cafes and the near-by villages. A boat taxi and ferry were close by whenever you wanted to go to the main city Valetta or other locations. I would come back here every year if I could.

Fabulous apartment in a perfect location
So pleased we chose this apartment for our holiday in Malta. The location is stunning, with beautiful views of the harbour. We swam in the harbour just in front of the apartment every day. Close to the ferry to Valletta and other public transport options. The apartment is huge, with everything you could wish for when self-catering. Connie's father met us on arrival and was very helpful showing us around, the fridge had even been stocked with bread, ham, eggs, butter and milk. Birgu itself is very pretty, made even better while we were there as the Feast of St. Dominic celebrations were in full swing with fireworks every night. There are plenty of very good local bars and restaurants. A wonderful experience. Highly recommend this apartment and we will definitely be returning!

Great apartment, wonderful location
We stayed in this very comfortable apartment in October. We met Connie’s parents at the “Casino di Venezia” from were they took us to the apartment building, where we could park our car in the secured car park and take the elevator to the apartment. When we entered the apartment we were impressed by the fantastic view!! The apartment was spacious, clean and very well equipped. We didn’t miss anything, basically everything you need during a holiday was there. Connie’s lovely parents were great guides during our stay in Malta. They gave some very good tips for lunch, diner and places to visit. The surrounding area contains a lot of nice restaurants at walking distance. In the old Birgu area there are some small shops, restaurants and places to drink coffee. Also Valletta is easy to reach with a watertaxi. A great place to spend your Holiday in Malta, one of the best places we stayed at in a long time!

Apartment in a superb position on Vittoriosa
We stayed a week at this well appointed apartment with friends. Francis met us from the taxi and showed us around the apartment. Having arrived mid afternoon on Sunday in sunshine we were amazed to see rain on Monday morning. It continued to rain for 4 days which was such a shame. The view from the living/dining/kitchen area is amazing. We didn't make use of the swimming platform just below the apartment as the sea was just too rough but on a sunny hot day, it would be wonderful. Because the weather was so bad we spent most of the days sight seeing inside museums or churches. On the day that we had hoped to go on a boat trip to the Blue Grotto, the sea was too rough and we also didn't go to Comino and the blue lagoon for the same reason. Such a pity as I am sure if the weather had been better we would have loved swimming etc. The apartment itself is very well equipped and in a peaceful area. As someone else has already said, it needs some refurbishment especially the en suite shower room but it was spotlessly clean. Local shops tend to close at midday until 4pm and are a little limited in provisions. It wasn't a problem for us as we ate out for most meals. Would I recommend the apartment? Definitely. One day we hope to visit again.

Right on the Waterfront
Very spacious and bright 3-bedroom apartment overlooking the beautiful waterfront of Il-Karkara. Rising sun streamed in first thing in the morning and such a delight to walk down the corridor to see the wonderful view across the bay. Well appointed apartment, comfortable seating and views over the waterfront area so we could watch the enormous cruise boats coming and going through the harbor entrance into Valletta port. There was lots of other water traffic too, local colorful Maltese rowing boats and local ferry boats. PROS: huge amount of towels provided which was a big plus as towels did not dry very well with all the humidity. Large amount of crockery, glasses, dishes, cookware and bake ware. Secured covered parking was provided inside the St. Angelo building complex with 24/7 security. CONS: grocery stores are quite a distance away so you need to plan accordingly if you wish to cook. Lidl stores are located all around the island but not close by unfortunately. We had a car but driving around the tiny, crowded streets was a nightmare. We parked the car and took Uber into Valletta - water taxi to Valletta not working! Entrance to the parking garage very tight - do not hire a large car. Lift stopped working twice while we were there (6 nights) and we had to use the stairs up. Not the quietest place unfortunately as a local cafe/bar between the St. Angelo apartments and the fort blasts away booming music once the sun goes down. Quiet inside the apartment though.

Our Malta vacation
The property was exactly as shown the pictures. Very clean. We were a family of 3 adults and 2 very young children. We were worried that the children would be able to go out side on the balcony by opening the sliding doors but they were very heavy and the children could not open them at all. I loved eating breakfast on the balcony and watching the morning swimmers There were toys in the children's bedroom cabinet which they enjoyed playing with since they were"new toys". Life vests worked well and we did swim right out side our apartment. The floaties were good to have, even for the grownups. We appreciated the food left in the refridgerator for us. We never cooked except to boil eggs so we do not know how the oven worked. The electric water pot, worked very well to make tea. Since we did not drive in Malta, it was important that we could get to Valletta and to other places. The little ferry to get to Valletta was near by and very handy (in good weather) The larger ferry was further away. There is a children's playground not far from the flat. My daughter-in-law took the kids to the beach in Kalkara. It is too bad that they do not keep it a little bit cleaner. The grocery store was a bit of a walk in Kalkara across the street from the playground. There was a pastizzi shop there as well. I even found a reasonably priced hair dresser and nail shop in Birgu town square. The children's science museum was great and we could walk to it. We didn't try taking a bus from Birgu so I cannot comment on transportation from Birgu. We had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend this property.

Great location
I would recommend this property to family and friends. Perfect location with amazing views. The underground car park meant we had no paryworries with our rental car and the entire building was fully secure. Everything you needed was available. Great support and communication from the hosts.
