It has quite a spacious yard and lots of items were available to use (sand castle/ bucket/ shovel supplies for the beach, fold up chairs, booty board, and picnic supplies to mention a few) the nearby beaches were nice and not too crowded . "Our family had a great time at the Cordial House. The location of the property is top notch for our purposes. It's minutes away from the Cavendish beach and Anne of Green Gables heritage site. A few other beautiful beaches on the north coast are all within reasonable driving distance. There is a beach clamming place within walking distance where you can find a lot of softshell clams. "A beautiful home, and an incredibly beautiful Province, with lots of activities available to travellers even after the summer season. We would have appreciated notice of the “Boil Water Advisory” prior to our arrival, which remained in effect during our stay. Access to the community centre and its activities was advertised, but was closed for the season. "

"We had a lovely time, the cottage was clean and comfortable for 2 guests, and was close to lots of nice beaches (ex. Cavendish) and there was a great restaurant a 2 minute walk away."

"Spacious location for 3 couples, lots of supplies, bbq, great water pressure and steps to the water. Swimming preferred at the more known beaches. Kayaking was available and close to the water. Lots of cooking supplies, don't buy too many groceries before checking with the owner or the cabinets yourself. Recommend Cabot Beach or Thunder Cove beach about 40 minutes drive. Suzanne was super helpful with any issues like propane. Recommend a "what to do cheat sheet" for some directions. "
