The check in was a breeze and customer service was excellent. However when we got into our room it was freezing. Offered us a portable heater, we declined offered us an upgrade awesome. However we were told the upgraded room had heat but no hot water. We declined to stay to go to 3rd floor. We were then offered a refund. The problem was the propane was never delivered and they weren't sure when or why it when it was going to be delivered. Sad always wanted to stay there for an experience, will never try again!

Pluses - the staff at breakfast was very attentive and happy to handle special requests (including allergen-safe cooking). The main house has a beautiful common area with plenty of snacks and drinks and local items of interest. Minuses - our room was missing some basic amenities, like cups for the bathroom and a full roll of toilet paper (while there was more available in the common area, I'd expect my room to have at least a reasonable amount when I checked in). Our room in the carriage house was also in need of some repairs to the woodwork, plus there wasn't an obvious way to control the HVAC (it was rather cold and drafty). We had stayed here years ago under the previous owners; the people here are much friendlier now but the property needs some work still (I assume it was falling apart under the old owners). Communication with the property is also good; we got several text messages regarding our stay, keeping us updated on how incoming weather might affect us.

The bed in room 3 was so comfortable i did not want to leave. The full service breakfast was deliscious with lots of choices including homemade breads and fresh fruit. Everyone was friendly and gave the best customer service! I will be back and very soon!

My wife and I were in town to see Daniel at Sight and Sound. This hotel was literally at 10 minutes away. A perfect location for us. Then throw in that they provide you with a hot fresh breakfast that was included was the cherry on top! The only challenge we had was that the room got very hot, but we were able to compensate it by opening the window. Extremely pleased. Exceeded our expectations!

Touring Lancaster
This was our first stay ever at a BnB. Very impressed. Gives a new meaning to home away from home. Comfy. Nicely furnished older home. Wonderful staff. Great cooked to order breakfast. Convenient for touring the Lancaster area. Our bedroom was very nice. The only problem was it was in the front of the house on the street that was a main route. Traffic was light at night but the occasional tractor and trailer was a bit jarring. Nice grounds. Pool. Don't forget to pet the dog and goats. Will be returning.

Great place, great job and great time in Lancaster
The only problem we had was that we woke up and went into the bathroom and there was water on the floor because the drain line was disconnected from the sink not being secured enough. On the good side is that the owners acted very quickly to resolve the issue.

Wonderful stay. I would recommend this inn to anyone. The rooms have personality with individual, old fashioned charm. Our room was like a doll house. Breakfast is free and delicious, you can order what ever you want, the staff so pleasant. I really would love to visit again.

A comfortable and cozy place to stay
We really enjoyed our stay at Greystone Manor. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. Snacks and extra items are conveniently located on the first floor and available at all time. The staff was helpful and friendly. We stayed in Room 3, which we like the layout, the bedroom area is separate from the living area, which is comfortable and cozy. This is our second stay at Greystone, and we already booked the room for the same time next year (I run the Bird in Hand half marathon and Greystone is located very close to this event).

American Heritage at a unique Victorian B&B.
We absolutely enjoyed every minute at the Greystone Manor. As we are from Europe we loved the original victorian wallpaper and historic atmosphere that gave us even more unique American heritage. The staff is really attentive and unlike most hotels nowadays really cares, service to make you feel comfortable, provide delicious breakfast and tips for surrounding places. We can strongly recommend this B&B.
