"Not what it seemed from the outside. Looked a bit tired but we were pleasantly surprised once we had checked in via the check~in kiosk. The room was very well presented, excellent air con and a nice cold refrigerator. Bed was very comfortable and room was extremely quiet. We have stayed in posher hotels that didn’t have that comfort. Would stay again. Would stay again"

"Stayed overnight in October on way back from SA to see Lake Tyrell. Cabin was pretty good. Fairly spacious, well equipped and very clean, perhaps overly clean - the room smelt so strongly of bleach it was uncomfortable to be in until it had been aired for 2-3 hours. Very annoying. The room was relatively quiet despite being near the highway. We may have been lucky with few roadtrains and other guests that night. "Sure, Donald isn’t the biggest town out there, but with a motel like this, you don’t need it to be – it is just so relaxing. It is located right next to the river, and not only that but they have balconies out the back where you can sit and just enjoy the natural surroundings, and the surroundings are certainly really natural. The service was also great, and the rooms were pretty comfortable as well. Yeah, this turned out to be a great place to spend a couple of nights."
