Ozark seclusion with a fully loaded cozy cabin, creeks, springs ,oh my!!!
We are perfect for anything you want to do in the Ozarks whether it be floating, hiking, caving, hunting, or just getting back to nature. We are off the beaten path, (exactly 3 miles down a gravel road), in a very intimate setting, where you can relax in privacy. The cabin is surrounded by forest with abundant wildlife and amazing stargazing. We now offer hi speed WiFi (Starlink) and Netflix. This is a much better service than the WiFi we previously had.

Beautiful and secluded, we loved it
This was an amazing little gem tucked way back off the beaten path. Everything was clean and comfortable and the owner was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time here and wished it had been for longer!
Cabin was clean and owners thought of every amenity you could ask for. The view from the front porch was amazing with horses and deer playing all day. The owners dogs were a great welcoming committee and were very sweet. The peace and quiet of the cabin was absolutely the best. This is one of the best places we have stayed.
This was a perfect quiet place for a couple days. The cabin is very well kept and the location is good, close enough to the things to see but far enough so you will hear little to no traffic sounds! The only improvement I would suggest would be a king size bed but it is a very nice spot for some downtime. The dogs are very friendly and were fun guests the one time they came to visit.
We loved this property and had a incredible time. Never turned on the TV. Just took in the amazing views and enjoyed the serenity of this property. We will definitely stay at this property again.
An absolutely wonderful experience! If you're looking for a cabin in a private secluded area that is completely safe I highly recommend the Birch Tree Cabin. It's less then 10 minutes from downtown Eminence and located in Ozark National Scenic Riverways. The Cabin is clean and nicely furnished and the host was extremely friendly and was available whenever we reached out. I will definitely stay with them any time I'm in the area...
My husband and I just spent such a relaxing 3 nights here. The cabin and area are as presented in the listing. The hosts are very nice and accommodating. We hope to return in the winter.
The cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. We were able to drive fairly short distances to some great hiking trails. The kitchen was well stocked and were able to prepare breakfast/supper, the BBQ grill and fire pit out front were appreciated! We saw deer and turkeys. The hosts were in contact with us for any need that might come up, but we really didn't need a thing.
Stayed here for our annual fall getaway. Loved the daily visits from their doggies and enjoyed giving them treats along with the horses. Very pretty and relaxing. Internet did not work here but that didn’t bother us.
Perfect getaway in a peaceful and beautiful setting
The cabin was very clean. The owners were very helpful. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous. There were horses to watch grade the fields. An absolutely wonderful weekend
Very nice ,quiet cabin. My son loved the horses. A little further out of town than I anticipated, but still able to get to quite a few state parks. Had everything we needed. Overall very nice!
3 of us travel to Eminence yearly for the past 30 years. This was our first time to stay at The birch tree cabin. We loved every thing about it. It was wonderfully secluded. Had all the amenities we needed. The cabin was very comfortable. The owners quickly responded whenever I contacted them. I would definitely stay there again.
This property is beautiful. We have never experienced such solitude and space to just relax. The animals around the property were a bonus Two Great Danes and horses. We highly recommend.
The cabin was perfect for our needs! We were visiting friends in the area and exploring the sites. The only downside is the 3 mile gravel drive to the cabin. Even so, it’s no different from the other roads in the area! We enjoyed the quiet and peacefulness of the cabin! Thanks to our hosts for a wonderful stay!
It was a very enjoyable stay at the cozy little cabin. It was clean and warm.
Location was perfect for what we were looking for. First low water bridge stay to the left as there is a pot hole on the right side.
Lots of great reads that we read when internet went out. Maps are available to make routes for your stay.
Thanks so much for the memories we will be back soon.
We girls have been friends since high school in the 70s.
Loved our stay at the cabin. We sat on the screened in porch each night and listened to all the wildlife, soooo relaxing. Cabin was very clean. We had all we needed to fix up breakfast before going to town each morning. Hostess was very nice and helped us with information on some of the close by attractions. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Thank you for helping us enjoy our girls trip with a wonderful place to stay.
Such a pleasant location. Quietly tucked away with a relaxing view across the pasture of horses. We loved spending time sitting in the screened-in porch every morning as we drank our morning cup of coffee. Due to the inclement weather, the porch also provided us the opportunity to enjoy the scenery while staying nice & dry! The kitchen was a little small, but was well stocked. The queen bed had a memory foam mattress that was too soft for our liking, but most likely would have been comfortable for a younger age group. The hosts were very gracious and friendly. All in all, a very enjoyable stay for our girls trip!

It is in a beautiful location.
I don't want to fault the stay, but we had issues. The area had recently had some flooding, so the road was almost more than my van could take. No cell coverage over most of the area, so communication with the owners was impossible, and the ac didn't work. It was 90+, so it wasn't comfortable. It would be a great spring or fall stay.
