"Unlike US stays this place requires you come with your own shampoo as well as extra trash bags for a long stay. We are more used to coffee filters and basic cooking spices for the kitchen. It is set up more like a hotel not a long stay VRBO. Thankfully there are two close grocery stores you can even walk to. It is a great convenient place to stay and the help spoke English and was readily available. We’d stay again here but be a little more prepared. "

"We had the room on the top (5th floor). It had a huge bathroom with a great deep tub (plus a big shower). The room, which was a very spacious, had beautiful exposed beams. It was charming (more so than the other units of the property, which were also nice, just not as charming) and really nicely situated in Heidelberg, two blocks or so from the castle and Christmas markets. If I am ever in Heidelberg again I would certainly stay there! The only downside is there is no elevator and the steps up...

"From being met by our host at the door before we even rang the bell to when we left this was the perfect last stop on our trip. The apartment is very large, beautifully decorated, and absolutely immaculate. "Everything we needed for a 5 day stay. Plenty of room and loved the historic feel of the place with extremely high ceilings and lovely windows. The only confusion on my part was that when we asked if there was parking prior to our visit, we didn't understand that it would be a permit to park where ever you can find a spot on the street."
