When we tried to check in a little before 4:00, we were told the room was not ready and they would call us when it was. We waited in the lounge area for a while and walked back up to the check-in desk and people were lined up in three lines. We never received a phone call telling us our room was ready. Upon check-in, the girl took forever to get us our keys because many rooms still weren't ready, and it's well past time to check in. When we finally got our keys, which had room #905 written on the key packet, the keys wouldn't work, plus the room was not gulf-side as we had asked for when booking. I just happened to turn around and try one of the keys on room #906. It worked. We set up in room #906 and my wife went down to tell the girl about it so her records would be accurate. When she explained it, the girl responded in a very condescending way, "Do you need me to write 906 on it for you?" The girl, whom we failed to get her name, copped an immediate attitude with my wife. When we looked at the pictures of the rooms on the website, they showed a microwave oven present. Our room did not have one, nor did it have a refrigerator. During our stay, trash cans in hallways were overflowing and the night before we left, someone had dropped a cup of something that looked like custard on the floor, just outside of the elevator doors on the 9th floor.
