"The hotel itself is nice enough and we would have enjoyed the outdoor areas at and near the hotel with better weather. Annoyingly, the bar wasn't open in the afternoon and we noticed quite a number of people waiting when it did open. Strangely, the bar is not accessible through the hotel when the restaurant is closed, needing to walk around the front to get to. There must have been a large party booked in to the restaurant as it was full immediately after it opened so we had to wait an hour and...

"Check in was excellent. Receptionist was friendly and very helpful. Room was good but the bathroom was a weird design. Breakfast was ok. Service was good and very friendly. Hotel was well situated. Plenty of parking behind but you have to navigate some one way streets. You can walk into town in about 15 minutes downhill. 20 minutes back up."

"The Hotel was great. Nice cafe for snacks and we ate in the restaurant in the evening and really enjoyed the food and the staff were attentive. Only complaint I had a stater my wife didn’t. My starter came (very nice) but my wife’s main came before I had finished my starter, so I was eating my main after. Great I could park my motorcycle right outside the hotel. "

"Reception service on arrival could have been better...one guest being dealt with ahead of me who then went to get something from his car or somewhere. No communication with me or "sorry please bear with me". Nothing. This guest's wife then comes back in and it takes 10 minutes to deal with her before i am dealt with. No apology or even 'sorry for the wait'. Pretty poor. Room was ok but was told that it has an adjoining door to another room and that 'if i keep it closed, the other guests can't...

"Amazing cozy little castle, very well preserved. We really felt the medieval vibe. Curro is an incredible host and he gave us a wonderful tour around the castle and the church beside with very interesting history facts.He is the best host and an artist that makes your stay unforgettable Breakfast was delicious prepared by his wife Susana. A dream come true. Highly recommended "

"I stayed in the Sercotel for a week when I arrived in Soria to teach English. Overall, my stay was pleasant and comfortable. The rooms were cleaned daily, sheets and towels changed regularly, and plenty toiletries provided. The room was basic, but had everything that you needed. The breakfast was included which was nice, although there wasn't a huge selection - some fresh fruit would make a nice addition. No apology or even 'sorry for the wait'. Pretty poor. Room was ok but was told that it has an adjoining door to another room and that 'if i keep it closed, the other guests can't get in!' Very reassuring! Keycard operated door had a weird way of locking - if you weren't careful it wasn't secure. Decor in the Hallway was peeling off the wall and carpet was marked quite badly. Positives: Very good spread at breakfast. Good shower in pretty clean room with large fridge ( always a bonus). Location is great: 5 minutes to train station; 5 minutes to town; 10 minutes to the old town. Very good value for money just a couple of little things let it down..."
