"Luckily we arrived in daylight, as the road up to the Osteria zig-zagged in impossible hairpins up from the valley. It's possible that after dark and unlit we might just have turned around and headed for somewhere flat. However, if we had done we would have missed a completely unique experience. The hamlet of Anzonico clings to the side of an Alp and there is no vehicle access to the Osteria. Parking is in a lay by about 50 yards further up. "Nice appartement, its very pretty and the kitchen is fully equiped. Well situated in the centre of Tegna, the children took the train to Locarno while we went hiking and climbing in Val Maggia. Only minus point is the church bells, (you are in the centre of town!) but you get used to them after a couple of days. "

"Great place to stay. It was clean and all that was promised in the listing. The location was amazing as it is basically on the side of the mountain it this cute village area. Be sure to make certain the road access from Airlo is open! Google maps will take you up to a snow closed road in the winter. Turning around on this narrow road at night is sketchy. I did get a what’s app message, but it was too late as I already drive up the wrong way. I do appreciate the effort to let me know. ...

"A fantastic setting with views to spoil you forever. Clean and tidy house, however we encountered some issues. A shower had been removed from the top bathroom, which we were not informed about, making our stay difficult as we were two adult couples and all had to share a shower downstairs. The bathroom and second bedroom upstairs have limited head height and you will bump your head. The second bedroom is really only for children!!
