Facing the Swan Mountains on 20 beautiful rolling acres are three tipi's available for overnight stays for those looking for a more "down to earth experience". Enjoy the night skies and experience the wonder of being/sleeping in an ancient conical structure. This tipi has a Queen size bed and is the most private, but of course a little further from the facilities. Restroom is in Glass blowing studio. New this summer a solar powered outdoor shower! Stop by Proctor Studios To see the latest works in glass & metal. DIRECTIONS Once turning off of Hwy 35 at the Saint John Paul Catholic Church, it is the 3rd Driveway on your left, immediately after the Rising Mountain assisted Living. It is 0.2 of a mile from hwy 35.Siri & goggle maps takes you to far down Coverdell Rd. *** If you are squeamish about insects....expect a Hotel style restroom.., or experiencing varied weather conditions this destination is probably NOT for you!!

We love staying here! The teepee's are very nice, the area is absolutely beautiful. It is peaceful and calm. Just a very pleasant experience, and you can't beet the price. We have stayed here twice now in 3 years and will definitely stay again.
Quiet evening, very comfortable bed, cool evenings...makes for a perfect rest.

We had a fantastic stay. The tipi was relaxing and cozy, and the setting is beautiful. They’re surprisingly roomy and we had more than enough room to move around and store our stuff. The host Lee was very responsive and accommodating. We can’t recommend this stay enough.
I loved my night here. My only regret is not staying longer. This is a great location for many outdoor activities and towns. Lee was an awesome host. I’d like to come back!
We loved to be able to experience living in a Tipi, waking up in the morning was very calm and relaxing hearing the birds chirp in the morning. Provided everything that we needed. The shower is solar powered, so don’t take a shower in the morning like I did haha.

The idea of sleeping in a tipi sounds fun, but there was long grass everywhere, including inside the tipi. There were also grasshoppers in the bed. The bathroom was in the back of a workshop, and the light was burnt out. There was a kiln and many other tools that were hazardous. There was very poor lighting.
Second time at the tipis and just as great as the first. The tipis are clean and big. So peaceful and quiet with a beautiful view of mountains. Star gazing outside and inside of the tipi is a must. The bathroom is a very short walk from all tipis, clean and there is an outdoor shower. It is not “glamping” but rather a tranquil experience in the majestic outdoors of Montana. So close to breweries, eateries and 35 minute drive to GNP west enterence. Lee is a great host. I can’t wait to come back with friends and family next season to show them a unique and beautiful experience in the great outdoors of Montana.

Lee’s place is absolutely beautiful! The Tipi’s were so much fun to sleep in! I would venture to call our experience a “Diamond in the Rough “. My husband has back issues and we were concerned about that, but the bed was very comfortable! There is no electricity in the tipi, so make sure your phone/devices I are charged ahead of time if you need to use it/them. The nights we stayed, there was a full moon, clear skies, and it was beautiful, waking up to clear sunny skies. The tipi’s are in a field of tall grass, and the paths to the tipi’s are lit with solar lights. We are a couple in our 60’s so we did bring a flashlight. I tried out the solar shower, it was well done, but a little chilly. Maybe wait till afternoon. I also enjoyed the beautiful glass work adorning the property!
Our host Lee, was very friendly and helpful, easy to reach and quick to respond to our questions. We would definitely recommend this experience and would definitely stay there again.

Husband initially booked two nights in one of the teepees, but that was a bit too rustic for me. When we explained the situation to Lee, he immediately had us stay in his guest room, which was a lovely accommodation. The following night he had us move to the guest house, which was even more lovely and contained everything we needed to be super comfortable. Lee was nice enough to give us a tour of his studio and workshop and showed us the incredible project he’s currently working on. Overall, it was a lovely experience and we’ll definitely be back with our children for a second visit to Glacier National Park. Couldn’t end this review without mentioning his cute cat who greeted us warmly as soon as we arrived.
We were supposed to stay 4 nights and left after the first. Weeds to your knees to tipi and shower-no water and weeds in there were to your waistline. When we first got there Lee hassled us about our equipment we were bringing in -camp stove and lots of gear since we were traveling for 14 days. Said we should of asked about cooking options before hand. No cooking or coffee making allowed. The grasshoppers were a super nuisance. We left the next morning, Lee never contacted us again since the first night stay at arrival.
We were fully prepared to stay in a teepee, which we knew would not have electricity and other amenities. We were expecting to camp in a fun tent.
Our surprise came when we realized that there was no "floor" to the teepee. There were nice outdoor rugs across the space, but there was no connection with the sides of the teepee, and around the edges of the sides were grasses 2 feet high. The biggest suggestion I could share is for the owner to add tarps to the bottom of the teepee. It all worked, but we were very surprised to have the tall grass in the tent with us.
The owner was very communicative and met us on the property to walk us through the site.
We never actually made it to the camp out due to car troubles and forest fires closing the highway. Preparation and communication with the host was very good and the location is fantastic.
Our stay was perfect! Lee was a spectacular host! Getting to experience the tipi was wonderful. We appreciate Lee taking the time to share with us his latest art installment and his other sculptures! Thank you for a great two nights!
