Walk to Ski! Luxury cabin walking distance (250 yards) to Bear Mountain. Perfect for one, two, or three families who want to be first on the mountain or walk home for lunch (no need to find parking at the mountain!) Fully equipped for 10 guests. Ping Pong, Shuffleboard, Wii, Roku, Netflix.

Enjoy skiing, golfing, or winter walks & sledding on the golf course - the cabin is perfectly located between the 8th and 9th holes of the mile high+ Bear Mountain golf course, and less than five minutes to restaurants, CVS, supermarkets, national forest biking & hiking trails, and the Zoo.

The cabin is our family's, and we maintain it immaculately. The cabin layout is large, open and spacious - perfect for après-ski entertaining in the 'Great Room' while cooking in the kitchen. We have made the cabin fully plug-and-play. Enjoy gourmet meals for up to 10 persons with our fully equipped kitchen, cookware, and dishes, a 10-person handmade dining table, and top-notch appliances (waffle maker, smoothie maker, 12-cup coffee, etc).

For those who need to stay connected, enjoy the fastest WiFi. There is a also a 12' shuffleboard table in front of the fireplace, Roku, Netflix, ping-pong, Wii for the kids (we provide console, please bring games), a video library with DVD player, and three HDTV's, a reading nook and 'library', and our personal family favorite -- an imported antique 'sapo' game from Argentina (don't worry, we will teach you to play!)

You will also enjoy a separate laundry room with full washer & dryer, outdoor deck with gas grill, and a beautiful stone fireplace. For parking, there is an oversized garage and a large, level driveway for vehicles (3 max per city code) or RV/Boat. We also provide a portable crib for those with little ones.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: - please know that the maximum number of guests allowed by city ordinance is 10.

* Master Suite (2 people) – Upstairs. Beautiful, new king log bed, full bath, walk-in closet, new flat screen HDTV.
* Downstairs Bedroom One (2 people) – beautiful, new queen log bed. Large closet, new flat screen HDTV.
* Downstairs Bedroom Two (4 people) – bunk-bed with a full sized mattress on the bottom and twin on top. A third trundle twin bed slides out from beneath the bunk-bed.

* If extra sleeping space is needed (2 people), there are two brand new twin sleeper couches cozily placed in front of the oversized stone fireplace in the living room.

Great cabin next to Bear Resort
This cabin had everything we needed for a family getaway. Plenty of games for kids to play. Sapo was fun even thou no one made it in the frog’s mouth. The best part of walking distance to Bear Resort for snowboarding. Our family thanks you.

Beautiful home in perfect location
We really enjoyed our stay here, the home is comfortable and in walking distance to Bear Mountain. The hill on the golf course was perfect for sledding and the neighborhood was beautiful and close to the village. Definitely recommend!

Perfect location and nice space
The location is perfect for a ski weekend at Bear Mountain. Even with the busy holiday weekend, we were able to relax in this home that met all of our needs and only steps from the mountain. The welcome pack was great at providing all of the necessary info for our stay and recommendations in the area. We look forward to staying again.

Favorite Location!!
Rented this home with a family friend so we could take our kids skiing. We had a great time and the location is superb! It was an EASY walk to Bear Mtn for all, even our 11-16 year olds. The location allowed us to walk home for lunch and warm up before heading to the mountain again. Cute little sledding area around the corner for little ones, too. -Carola and Stephen are super nice and quick to respond. It’s always good to have hosts that want to help. They do! They have clear instructions printed out and also have a great tone in their replies to my emails. -The house is a great set-up (I mean seriously great!!) -shuffle board was so fun, and comes with plenty of sand (nice touch!) -living area is spacious -huge, long driveway makes it easy to park my extra long van. -garage was empty so my friend was able to park inside (SO nice to have a clean, empty garage for gear as well!) -clean, new carpet and wood flooring We would love to come back!

The cabin was centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit such as the ski resort and downtown. For the kids it was awesome place with plenty of space and games to play. The biggest was the back yard area within walking distance from a kids play area to use the snow ledge. Thank you folks for making us enjoy a great time.

Great host communication; perfect location!
We just completed our 3-night stay and everything was perfect! The hosts were very communicative, from explaining the house rules to recommending food places nearby. The cabin itself was clean and tidy, and just a short walk to the ski lifts. I'd definitely stay here again!

This is a great property Close to Bear Mountain. I like that it’s close to the mountain and it could be walking distance or about a three minute drive. I like that there’s snow play around the home for kids also not too many stairs and the driveway was straight through not too steep.

Nice winter retreat

Love it
My family and I rented this property with another family, for a total of 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 3-7), and it worked out beautifully. The home is exactly as pictured, the check-in and check-out process are extremely easy, and you cannot beat the location. We walked up to Bear Mountain Resort to ski and snowboard and walked home in less time that it would have taken to load the kids up and get a parking space. It is a 5 minute walk, max. The house is located right near the golf course and the owner included tips on where to sled near the house. Overally, we had a great time and definitely plan to rent this place again. Tips for future renters: bring essentials like salt, pepper, oil, etc. if you plan to cook. There are plenty of pots and pans but you may want to bring your own, if you're picky. Use the owners tips - every tip we used turned out perfectly. Communicate with the owners, they're awesome!

Great home and great location
We took our almost 4 yo twins up to Big Bear for the first time. This was a great place to stay with little kids. The kitchen had everything we needed, great sitting area for eating and the lounge/TV area was great! The kids loved being in the bunk bed room and we slept downstairs to be near kids. The bed was comfortable. The location was amazing! It is easily walkable. Because of the kids, we dropped kids and one of us off at the base of the mountain, parked back at the place and then walked the 5 min back to the base of the mountain. So easy! Carola was so helpful and quickly responded to all our questions! It was a super experience for us all the way around.

Great place to explore and enjoy the snow. Only drawback was the previous tenants did a poor job washing the dishes. But a warm, comfortable home base. Owners are responsive and nice, even reaching out to let us know about road closures. You can indeed walk to the ski resort, and we found a great sledding spot by just walking straight across the road
