Great Weekend Getaway

A fantastic time

The house was sizeable, clean, warm and perfectly located. Suzannah has responsive, even at 9pm in the evening! Great stay and great memories in Big Bear for my family and me! We can't wait to return!

Wonderful house!
The house was well laid out with great quality amenities. Loved the bath and spa towels as well as the abundance of them. Rooms were comfortable as was the overall space. Amazing view of the lake and close to activities.

One of the best rentals we have stayed at- and we are frequent renters through VRBO! So very comfortable and just a great family set up- the view of the lake from both the patio and the living room can not be beat- it was just beautiful! Awesome game room - comfortable bedrooms- very spacious and comfortable- can not really say more- had a wonderful family vacation- can't wait to go back - our thanks to the owners!!!

Perfect house for family vacation especially with young children
We were 100% happy with the house, its location, and the layout. We traveled with another family and the split level layout made it convenient for everyone to have their own space. The kids had a blast sleeping together in the bunk room. We had 6 children and 4 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. We highly recommend this house.

Best Location in Big Bear!
This cabin is in a quiet area but a short 10min walk to the lake or the village. There is an amazing view of the lake from the back balcony with plenty of space for the family and pets to hang out. Inside has lots of together or separate spaces to gather or escape and relax. Special thanks to the owners for a well stocked kitchen; they had everything you need to feel at home. We loved this place for our summer 4th of July getaway with a great view of the fireworks show from the balcony. Looking forward to experiencing this cabin in winter.

Epic New Year Getaway!
Our first time using VRBO and we had a fantastic experience with great owners who were very attentive and easy to get ahold for questions. The property was awesome with bunk beds for the kids and multiple bedrooms for the family as well. GREAT layout, loved the deck with hot tub, fun times in the game room, & magic having a fireplace ablaze while the snow is falling leaving a perfect layer of powder for sledding in the morning. Couldnt ask for a better place and look forward to next year!! Thanks again!!

Peaceful and relaxing
This was our first family trip to Big Bear and would not have stood anywhere else. The cabin was clean and well maintained. The owners were very helpful and supply everything from pots, pans, coffee pot, coffee filters, dish soap.. Etc. the balcony was our favorite place to hang out and bbq in the sun and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. We will definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for clean, comfy and well organized owners. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. We loved it!

Cabin needs a touch up
Good location, decent size with a great view from the balcony, however this cabin is in need of serious maintenance. Very different from what the pictures show. There are extension cords running up the walls of the living room, the wood on the deck and outdoor furniture is completely falling apart and peeling/cracking. A couple of our kids got splinters. The kitchen is functional but appliances are cheap and unreliable. Also if you’re renting in the summer be aware there is no air-conditioning and the place gets very hot, especially in the rooms above the garage - cools off a bit at night but not enough to be comfortable even with fans running. We also had a hard time finding acess to the lake walking distance from the property. If looking in Big Bear I think there are better options at this price point.

Spacious yet cozy cabin with great views!
My family rented this cabin (13 people total) and everyone was so happy with our experience. From the young children, to the teenagers, to the adults....all of us enjoyed the unique layout of the cabin. We could all be together in the cozy and comfortable great room with its beautiful views, or we could all spread out into different areas of the house to do our own thing. And you could not ask for a better location! I almost didn't want to write a review because I don't want too many people knowing how amazing this place is....this place will be on high demand because it's that great. Thank you Suzannah for everything and being so quick to respond with all my questions before hand, and during our stay. Will definitely be back in the future!

Excellent Experience
We had a fantastic time and loved the house. There were a few things we were disappointed with. Since it is a home intended for multiple people, it would be nice to have more silverware. We were running the dishwasher often because there was not enough silverware for our group. Additionally, not enough toilet paper was provided. Each bathroom had less than two rolls for our entire stay. Lastly, the game room is in the garage and it was freezing. The original space heater was broken so we used another one, but it really did not produce enough heat to warm up the space. Overall, the house provided a very nice vacation experience.

Great views and amenities
Cabin was as advertised - great big living space for our two families to enjoy the winter weekend. Walking distance to a brewery, Alpine Slide, and The Village, which was a lifesaver during the busy holiday weekend. Hot water was plentiful, water pressure was good, house was fully stocked with appliances (Crock Pot came in clutch for dinners), cooking utensils, dishes, pots and pants, pet items, bedding, and was clean upon arrival. Suzannah was always quick to respond to messages. Only drawbacks were the lack of eating utensils and spa towels (nothing a quick run in the dishwasher or dryer couldn't fix), a 30-minute time limit for the hot tub, and the unsafe ladders to the top bunks in the kids' room. The ladders were stored under the beds and when put in place, lacked the necessary bolts to secure to the top bunk, which made it loose and wobbly (our kids fell off a few times). There was a stepstool in the closet which was just too short for our kids to climb into the beds and way too low for them to use to get out of the beds (the top bunk kids are 9 & 11 and almost 5' tall-- but their legs were still too short to safely get in and out). All in all, a great stay with amazing views (we were treated to a surprise fireworks show over the lake for NYE-- front row view!), fantastic location, and full amenities.

Wow!!!
We’ve stayed at several big bear cabins at this price point before and this one by far is the BEST! It was clean and fully stocked for 10 people. The host is only a phone call or text away. She was very responsive when we wanted to check in a little bit early to the cabin. Upon arriving at the cabin, we noticed that the rooms were very very clean and that the kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessities, and the bathrooms were fully stocked with towels and toilet paper. The beds were comfy and the host provides extra blankets and pillows in the closet. The best part about the cabin was that the hot water that came out immediately. That was by far the most convenient thing. Also, the hot tub was super big which has been an issue for us in the past with the hot tubs because my husband is 6’5” and sometimes he has to scrunch up to fit in one but this one he was able to lay out and relax and enjoy the beautiful MILLON DOLLAR view of big bear. The garage has a pool table. It is very used but it did the job keeping my son entertained for hours. It is cold in the garage and the heater in there doesn’t work, but we already knew that from reading other comments, so if you want to enjoy it at night bring your own space heater for that or just wear a big jacket. Lastly the cabin conveniently located near all of the shopping and entertainment spots in big bear. Overall this place gets a 10/10! Highly recommend!
