Canyon Hideaway is a newly upgraded single-story home located in Upper Moonridge.  It is just a short drive to the local zoo, golf course, and Bear Mountain Ski Resort. Situated in a canyon location, it provides a serene private setting backing the National Forest. No need to drive anywhere for hiking or sledding.

When you arrive, you will notice the beautiful pine trees and will appreciate the ease of access to the cabin, including spacious flat parking for up to three cars.  Step inside and enjoy the cozy family room, with comfy seating for your entire group. There is a river rock wood-burning fireplace to make a warm fire and the living room offers a large flat-screen TV equipped with Roku with a variety of free apps. Play on the Xbox 360 or watch one of the 200+ movies on the DVD player. High-speed internet is provided for guests or unplug and enjoy a variety of books and board games.

Just off the family room is a fully stocked and upgraded galley style kitchen with modern stainless steel appliances including a fridge/freezer, gas range/oven, microwave,  Bosch dishwasher, and a nice seating area perfect for meal prep. The kitchen includes a standard coffee maker and a Keurig Coffee Machine.

Through the kitchen, you will find the rustic and cozy dining area, offering a large table with ample seating for your group. While dining, keep warm with a fire in the Swiss-style wood-burning fireplace. You can gain outdoor access from the dining room. It is the perfect setting for special occasions.

Step out back and enjoy the fully fenced back yard, perfect for smaller children or your dogs.  This home is pet-friendly so you can bring the whole gang! Hang out on the deck and grill on the propane barbecue. Soak in the hot tub and enjoy the forest views and stargazing in the evenings.

Back inside and down the hall, you will find the three bedrooms offered in this cute home. The first bedroom offers a king bed, ample closet space, a flat-screen TV with Roku, and a DVD player. Attached to the master bedroom is a newly remodeled full bathroom with an extra large wood and stone tile shower. The second bedroom offers a queen bed, ample closet space, and deck access. The third bedroom offers a full over full bunk bed and ample closet space. There is another newly remodeled full bath off the hallway. USB charging plugs are available in each bedroom.

Do not exceed the occupancy limit
Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult  occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy. NO PARTIES ALLOWED.

No parking in street or yard
Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior sign.

No amplified music 24/7
Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.  

Head inside at 10:00 p.m.
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

FOR PET FRIENDLY HOMES ONLY, Take your furry friend with you
Take your dog with you so they do not disturb surrounding neighbors. You will find that Big Bear Lake is very dog-friendly! Please be sure to verify prior to booking that the property does accept pets.

Take trash to dumpster locations
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear locations:
41790 Garstin Drive & 39690 Big Bear Blvd.

Fines
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.  

Eviction
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In  addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned. Important: Dear Traveler, you will be charged with USD 200 in case you include a Pet in your reservation as a Refundable Damage Deposit for Pets.
