This peaceful, private, quiet, and clean family cabin will be one of your favorite parts about your visit to Big Bear Lake. As you sit out on one of the two backyard decks/patios, you will enjoy the beautiful pine forest views while listening to the birds chirping and you might even catch a seasonal creek running through the backyard.
We are located in the highly sought after location of Moonridge. The golf course, Big Bear Alpine Zoo, and Big Bear Mountain Ski Resort are less than a mile from the cabin. Snow Summit is only 3 miles away. Some have even been known to ski/snowboard to the slopes. You are also 3.5 miles from Ski Beach Park which is a 2 acre facility with lake access, fishing pier, restrooms, and rentable park space. The marinas are also close by if you plan to spend the day on the lake.
LIVING SPACE: You will find everything you need for a comfortable stay for up to 6 people. We have two bedrooms one full bathroom, kitchen (stocked with most cooking items you would desire) and spacious living space on the main floor. The dining table can pull out and the leafs lift up to make it a circle to seat all six guests together. We have recently added a poker table top if you would like to turn the dining table into a poker table to play a game! If you chose to cook, your guests can also visit with you while sitting at the wooden/cabin themed counter.
We have just added a portable A/C unit to use if needed while you watch your favorite shows, movies, or game on the Smart TVs. On the beautiful deck upstairs, you also have access to the propane BBQ, a built in bar with two stools, and a comfortable seating/dining area.
You could spend your entire getaway on the main floor, but downstairs you will find the third bedroom/game room with a half bath, washer/dryer and second outdoor seating area/deck. The pull out couch downstairs has a memory foam mattress, and a futon is also available for flexible sleeping options. The pool table has been re-felted for your pleasure with updated pool cues. We have also recently added new carpet on the stairs, full luxury vinyl floors throughout the cabin, a leather sectional sofa to seat up to six guests comfortably, an Alexa, SMART TV downstairs, foosball coffee table, magnetic dart board, corn hole, ladder ball, and a wide variety of games in our game closet.
PARKING: We have recently re-paved our semi circle driveway for up to two vehicles. We recommend pulling in as you approach the house (on your right hand side) for the best angle. We most likely can accommodate your truck if you are pulling a boat, however a boat does count as a vehicle.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
*This is our family cabin, we ask you treat it like your own.
*No parties/events allowed on property.
*Smoking/Vaping is only allowed on concrete patio outside.
*Quiet hours in Big Bear Lake are from 10:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
*No more than SIX guests allowed in cabin (at any time) per city code. This is strictly enforced.
*This property is only authorized for TWO cars/vehicles per city code (also strictly enforced). No parking on street is allowed.
*Fines for violations/complaints will be the responsibility of the renter.
*DOGS are welcome for and additional cleaning fee and must be disclosed and pre-approved.
*CATS and other animals are not allowed due to severe allergies of our family, our apologies.
*External cameras on site are for security only and monitor front yard/driveway/door, backyard and back door. Tampering with the cameras can result in additional fines and/or eviction with no refund.
*When it snows, we pay for the driveway to be plowed upon your arrival. If you would like to request another plow during your stay, we can try to arrange it for an additional cost. Please keep in mind the plows are busy during storms so advance notice is helpful. We do have two shovels, de-icing salt, and a window scraper we also provide our guests to use during their visit.
RENTAL AGREEMENT: Please refer to the "Rental Agreement" on the check out page for additional information. This agreement must be signed and sent to owner with a copy of valid ID to receive instructions for check in. *Beginning in November 2022, you will need to show a photo of your rental contract to dump your trash and provide our address to drop off trash.
AVAILABILITY: We have recently opened up more dates on our calendar. If you are interested in a date we have not opened up yet, please send us an inquiry with the dates you are interested in.
DISCOUNTS: We do offer a discount for week long stays. It will automatically calculate in your quote when you request to book.
