"We visited Zafra as the first stop of our tour of Extremadura and were very happy with this hotel - historic building ( old castle and pretty courtyard ), lovely room , friendly helpful staff and had a good lunch from the cafe sitting in sunny courtyard ( including delicious vegan option for my wife ).Only a couple of minutes walk to the main square and cheap parking available just outside the hotel .Would stay here again - not too far from Seville airport , so very convenient after flight. ."

"Great property, wonderful environment, good food and service! Was dissapointed that spa was closed and this was not mentioned on FB or website. Was told they tried to tell me in email (not received) which misses the point as by then its already booked. Would still return though as overall experience positive!"

"Excellent value for money. Staff are very friendly and helpful despite lack of English and our lack of Spanish! No complaints and will stay there again if visiting Zafra. Thoroughly recommended!"

"Everything was very clean, there isn’t anyone at the front desk and you have to do everything online but it wasn’t bad. The staff that were there, only during breakfast, were very kind and the food was delicious. "

"Very central and an easy walk into centre. Lovely setting, it's partly built into the city wall. Very clean and nice communal areas. Communication is very difficult as we have limited Spanish and non of the staff spoke English but we battled through. We've stayed her several times on our way back and forwa to Cadiz and we will definitely stay again. There parking available at a rate of 10Eur per day however it's worth the extra as it is secure."
