Beautiful 3-bed cottage in the heart of Gascony

A mixture of traditional French country cottage and modern home comforts, the Faucon shares the grounds with a second one-bed cottage, Alouette and our farmhouse. We have private parking and a secure space to store bikes and roof boxes. The large pool is fully enclosed (gate and lock) and is shared with the other guests (and ourselves), along with the beautiful gardens boasting stunning sunsets in the evening. The Faucon has a private terrace with an in-built coal barbeque for outside dining. The cottage boasts a modern fully-equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge with smart TV, a dining area for 6-8 people, books and games, free WIFI, 3 large bedrooms (2 bedrooms with160x200cm beds and 1 bedroom with 2 140x200 beds - all fitted with mosquito nets and fans for a good night's sleep - cooling machine available on request). The stairs are fitted with a baby gate for your children’s safety. The master bedroom has an ensuite walk-in shower and there are 2 shared shower rooms, 1 on the ground floor and 1 on the 1st floor. All sheets and towels are provided, but we ask you to bring your own swimming towels. Dogs are very welcome - we have a friendly French bulldog (female) and the grounds are fully enclosed with a secure gate. The closest town with all amenities, bars, restaurants and a lake (with slides and water sports) is just a 5-8 minute drive away. There are larger towns 15-30 minutes’ drive away. A car is a must (we offer electric charging at an extra cost). We are 30 minutes from Auch train station, 50 minutes from Agen train station and 1h15 from Toulouse airport. The area is full of fantastic wineries, and we will be happy to recommend some good domaines to taste and buy wine (or beer). Other activities in the area include canoeing, golf, cycling and walking. Or you can simply enjoy one of the many festivals/local markets in the area.
