"One point, if the family is inside with deadlocks on there could be a problem if there was a fire in the property.The deadlocks were the only way to lock the outside doors from inside, but if you left the keys in the deadlocks they could be accessed from outside by breaking or forced entry through an adjoining window."

"Many little things make a great package. Undercover parking for a higher than average vehicle, plenty of natural light, super comfortable beds, simple but user friendly layout, great outdoor space and excellant dog friendly yard, very clean, coffee pod machine (bring chocolate powder if that's how you take your coffee), Very easy walk to a beautiful beach, and also to a nice cafe. Will definitely be back!!"

"We stayed over Christmas down in Huski and had a great time. Being very close to the beaches and the shops made things super convenient. The house was lovely to stay in, with some old school charm. Hope to stay again."

It has literally everything you could need (including a cake tin!), plenty of space, a beautiful garden and a brilliant location.If your idea of a beach house is modern and fancy then you should go somewhere else, but if you’re looking for super comfortable, vintage gorgeousness then definitely choose The Cubby House We had the best time! "It was just like dropping into a friends place who left the key out. So comfortable and clean with everything you need (except for tissues). Location was great as you are 30 seconds from beach coffee shop, newsagent/grocer and seafood takeaway. Lux beds and bedding were great. Loved the art collection throughout the house. Looking forward to visiting again. "

"We loved our stay at this cute little original beach house. There was everything we needed to cook and cater for Christmas lunch. The house is across the road from river reserve, not far from beaches and lake.which is part of National Park and full of birds. We swam, kayaked, snorkeled and surfed everyday. "Had a great time staying at this property with some friends. The area is peaceful and close to a few different beaches. We enjoyed the big yard and BBQ. Would recommend if you want something spacious, quiet, green and away from the crowds. Left feeling very relaxed and we enjoyed seeing the kangaroos."

"Overall, an okay little house. As other reviews state, both mattresses should be replaced. One is cheap and you feel the springs clearly, and the other is long in the tooth. Fridge had been replaced, but the old one bizarrely left on the deck next to the front door (!?). BBQ dirty on arrival. Didn't use it because of that. You get what you pay for with this one. Bird droppings all over the deck."
