"Susan hosted a great stay for my wife and I over four days. The house and room were tidy, and the breakfast offerings were the best bar none. The front porch overlooked a well-manicured lawn on a very quiet street. Susan gave us some history of the area and pointed out stores and restaurants in the area. We were never disappointed. This was a first visit for us to this area and we hope that we can visit Susan again next year. "

"Everything at this place is well thought out and cared for. Our host provides everything needed and thensome. She gives you complete privacy and access to all her outdoor amenities, pool, bbq, canoes and fire pit. The canal waterway is beautiful for boating or just watching sunsets.The resident alpacas are adorable. The area is so quite and peaceful, only the sounds of nature. "Incorrectly booked another hotel for the wrong night. Cora took us in last minute and was gracious to all of us, even making up a second bed last minute and bringing milk for evening tea. The kids enjoyed the large projection screen and the swingset outside. We couldn't get enough of the view and the beautiful decor. Very well kept and loved by the owner. Linens, extra condiments and bath products at the ready! Very much appreciated, Cora. Thank you so much."

"The cottage was very nice and fully stocked. It was perfect with young kids. The outside lawn between the 2 large maples is where we spent so much of our time playing games and running around. "Beautifully finished, inside out. We were fortunate enough to spend two nights at this home and could hardly stay indoors. The location, the views, the amenities, the water, the fishing were all top notch, but the beautifully decorated and meticulously finished interiors and majestic windows overlooking the water made it difficult to leave- highly recommended"

"My friend and I rented this place and really enjoyed it, we wish we could have stayed longer. It was clean and they did a lot with the space. The bedrooms were nice even though there were no photos of them and the area is quiet. The lack of photos is why I put 3 stars for accuracy since it was hard to know what the rooms would be like. This would be a great place to go in the summer to enjoy the lake. Every question I had, the owner answered them very quickly and with great detail. All in all,...
