"This was one of our favorite stays on our trip. Nothing beats the view of the ocean and watching the clouds roll in with the church bell chiming in the background. Continental breakfast was great for the price of free. The only thing worth advising is that there are A LOT of steps to get up to the hotel, and with baggage it is not a task to be taken lightly. "Loved my short stay here. Bonassola is magical. All of the charm of Cinque Terre with none of the tourists. Exceptional restraurants nearby. The beach is a 4 minute walk. The staff was kind and very helpful for check in and early check out. Walls are thin---any noise in the hall can be disturbing. But my stay was so amazing. "The stag was incredibly friendly. The location is really great. The room that we “upgraded to” was tiny. They also told us when we checked in they upgraded us further to a nicer room than we purchased but I didn’t see how that could be. The room was just a bed with a small desk and a bathroom. Again, great staff, great location but the room itself left something to be desired. We could clearly hear the people in the room across the hall as if they were standing in the bathroom talking to us....
