"No space to move. Shower cubicle encrusted with grime, basin without hot water, no toilet paper. Nobody available to assist with anything. Guests are given a contact number, but get hung up on if they ring it. On the plus side, the bed was reasonably comfortable. Seriously, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else."

"Wonderful property. The building is over 200 years old but completely remodeled with all the modern amenities you would need. We traveled with my family (2 adults + 2 kids) and my parents. The location was easily accessible to transportation and walkable to the main city park. Very clean and well stocked which is always appreciated. The one downside was the hot tub was broken but that is no one’s fault and we still enjoyed the sauna. The owners were especially kind. Would stay here again if ever...

"This apartment is in an excellent location if you like to be just off the main street of activity. Rivers and mountains all around. Para gliders overhead. Easy access to the shopping and restaurants. Tourist office and small grocery store just down the quaint little street. Inside the apartment it is very comfortable. "Diarmund and Kashi are wonderful hosts to this lovely set of homes. We had Dep 3 which is the top floor penthouse of one of their properties. We loved having Matten as our neighborhood because it’s next to Interlaken but not in it (plus the entire region is very small so the borders don’t matter much). I would suggest that they have written instructions for operation of each, along with hints for problematic quirks that added to equipment failure. "First off, the location is amazing! Couldn’t be more centrally located and it’s directly across the street from the train station. We stayed with two adult and three young kids (8, 5, and 2) and had sufficient space to be in the apartment, but most of the time were enjoying the village directly out the front door.
