"My daughter's family and myself went to DC for my mother's burial at Arlington. It was a quick trip and we're from the area,though no one lives there now, so we needed a place to stay. This was a convenient location close to places to eat, the Metro, and major roadways. It was clean, comfortable, and safe. I'd definitely recommend. "The inside of the cottage was very clean. The bathroom towels are like blankets! SO nice! The kitchen is decent (with a little coffee/tea bar and fresh eggs in the refrigerator!!), the living room is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. My only issue with the interior was there was no place to put the luggage in the bedrooms. I had to put my suitcase on the floor and kept having to bend down to get things out of it. It would be nice to have a luggage rack or a small dresser in each room....

"This property was a great place to relax in a peaceful quiet setting. It was very clean. The kitchen had everything to prepare a meal. Easy access to Harper’s Ferry and Louden County wineries. An enjoyable 3 night stay for each of us."

"The cottage was everything and more than promised. We were vacationing and exploring DC - very convenient to the Metro and it was great having a “home” to come back to in the evening instead of a hotel room. Craig was responsive but gave us our space. We would recommend staying if you are looking for something in the area. You won’t be disappointed. As a bonus, the dogs were very friendly and made us laugh."

"So I had to book a place big enough for a large family last minute and found this property and let me tell you this property was spacious and breathtaking! Had a everything we needed for a home away from home! The fridge and stove were a dream! The plus was having washer/dryer access, hot tub and a massage chair! Oh and the tower!! The view from the deck was beautiful but from the tower was just amazing! Will definitely be coming back especially once the pool is built!"
