"Well, where should I start? I read all the reviews and was very hesitant, but gave in, thinking it’s for one night a very short night. I was in town for one day and this was the location of the event, which I knew would go into the wee hours of the morning. I came prepared with my own sheets pillowcases and towel. "I would not want to stay anywhere else in Tobago. The town of Castara is very small. Considering many of the other towns of Tobago are much larger, this is a town that you quickly learn everyone's name and they learn yours. The first thing about the Boatview Apartments they are perfect size for couples. A small kitchen, bed, and restroom. You don't need much else. "The owner/manager of this property was very welcoming and understanding of our situation and did everything he could to facilitate us on short notice. The pool in the property overlooks a slight hill so it makes for a nice touch. We felt very safe and the place is in a very quiet and serene area. "We had an amazing time. Our housekeeper treated us like family. The view is breathtaking. We really enjoyed our stay. Stacey made some of our meals for our group and it was delicious. She can do a lot of local dishes eg pelau, coconut bake etc. just send her your menu and she will accommodate but keep it local."
