And if you prefer to keep both feet on land, rest assured the home's design makes the most of its location and provides ample opportunity to experience canal life. In addition to the paved ground-floor patio, the home boasts a two-tiered deck with flawless views. Both kids and adults can choose a book off the shelf and enjoy it from the comfort of the second floor's screened porch. Or head up to the top level and bask in one of the lounge chairs - the glass railings mean nothing can obstruct the sight of the boats drifting below.
The house's interior boasts an open concept and tasteful decor. If you want to prepare a homecooked meal, the kitchen is well-equipped with a center island, brand new stainless steel appliances, and various smaller tools like a waffle iron, teapot, and blender. Eat all together at the banquet-style table, grab a snack at the breakfast bar, or dine alfresco on either deck. There's plenty of room to spread out and relax between the main living area, where you'll find a 75-inch HDTV with a soundbar, and the second-level family room with a 55-inch TV. Stream your favorite show or movie on either one using the high-speed WiFi, and if you have any work to finish, there's a workstation. When it's time to turn in for the night, two bedrooms have the added perk of private balconies.

Dock details: The private dock is available for both boats (no weight limit) and kayaks; however, there is no boat slip so boaters will need to use a public launch to enter the water. There is no weight limit and permits are not needed. Permits are not needed.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
