Spectacular Beach and Oceanfront views in 3 bedroom condo!

Enjoy the incredible panoramic ocean views from this beach front condo. Bright and sunny, this 3 bedroom condominium is on the 7th floor of a beachfront building in Sea Colony. Sea Colony is the premier family beach and tennis resort community located in Bethany Beach, Delaware.

We purchased this condo in 2019 and started listing it on VRBO in 2021. We manage this ourselves and not through a large management company.

This is in the Island House building and offers stunning, unobstructed views of the ocean and beach from the living room and master bedroom. This is the last building in the complex and has the least crowded beach area. The 1/2 mile long private beach and multiple swimming pools are steps away from the elevator.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that can accommodate up to 6 guests. In 2022, we replaced all of the carpeting with luxury vinyl plank flooring, removed the wallpaper and painted the master bedroom and installed new closet doors in each bedroom.

The Master bedroom has a new king size bed and furniture which was purchased in 2020, flatscreen smart TV with xfinity, and private bathroom with tub and shower. The bathroom also has the washer/dryer there. The wallpaper in the room was removed and fully painted in 2022. This room offers beautiful views of the ocean - fall asleep to the sounds of the waves!

The second bedroom has a queen size bed and smart flatscreen TV with xfinity. Both lamps have USB ports built right into them for easy charging. This room was freshly painted in 2020.

The third bedroom has two twin size beds and a flatscreen TV with a Google Chromecast to cast video to it and xfinity. Both lamps have USB ports built right into them for easy charging as well.

The kitchen is spacious and stocked with plenty of items needed for cooking. Includes a Keurig and regular coffee machine, waffle iron, small grill, shaker, blender, mixer, plenty of pots/pans, dishes, glasses, and more. Has a two person island seating.

The dining room set for 6 purchased was purchased in 2020 with 4 chairs and a bench.

The Living room has a new comfy sectional purchased in 2020 as well. There is a console stocked with a variety of books and games, and a new 65" smart flatscreen TV. Relax on the couch while overlooking the ocean!

The balcony has a table and 4 chairs and recently added a chaise lounge chair with small table for relaxing.

There is a convenient electronic keyless entry system for the condo. The code will be provided prior to your arrival.

There is a reserved parking space under the building, so your car stays cool in the summer months and is very close to the beach.

No pets or smoking allowed inside or outside the condo.

We only rent for 7 day weeks from Memorial Day through Labor Day - Saturday to Saturday. No mini weeks. Weeks outside of the season can be rented for 2 nights minimum.

Linens (Sheets) & Towels are NOT included.

Sea Colony Recreation Fees payable directly to Sea Colony upon arrival. You will also pick up your parking pass when getting your badges.

best view ever
We enjoyed the stay and especially the view of the ocean from the 7th floor. We even saw the end of a rainbow directly below us on the beach. We could have gone down and grabbed the pot of gold!

Over all our accommodations were lovely. You can tell the owner takes pride in her property. We found some areas that were not well cleaned. We notified the owner and she showed great concern and offered to send someone immediately.

check in was horrible, the staff did not know my name and I had to show them my emails could not hear the staff behind the plexiglass and they made no effort to speak up so we could hear thru vacasa a very streamlined professional classy introduction to the complex unhappy with kitchen supplies including lack of a variety of pots, pans and bowls real bummer that we had to make our own ice the owners really cheaped out with these issues

The view from this property was lovely. We enjoyed sitting at the patio table on the balcony in the morning watching the osprey hunt; one actually flew past us with a fish in its talons! The space was clean, bright and felt very roomy. The furnishing were comfortable and in very good condition. We spent several evenings gathered in the living area playing board games and chatting. The kitchen had everything we need for our stay so cooking at "home" was very easy.

We were a family of 6 adults and a baby. Enjoyed the condo very much. Amenities were just as described in the listing. I enjoyed the views from the balcony. Parking of the second vehicle was not easy. Liked that there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance so we didn’t have to search more than once. The only thing I could offer as an improvement is to have a broom available. You are always carrying sand in and a quick sweep would have been nice.

Beautiful view but very dirty, dated and poorly equipped!
This property was very poorly maintained. Trash under and behind the beds, dirty spotted furniture, smudged picture windows, dirt on the walls, spots on the carpeting. The remote in the "kids" room was missing so tv was inoperable, the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were lacking trashcans and sufficient lighting, the kitchen had minimal equipment and was very dated. Beautiful view, but not up to Sea Colony standards.

We were late booking this past winter and we considered ourselves lucky to have found this newly listed rental back in March. The view is great and the place is reasonably clean and tidy and needs a few repairs. The pocket doors on the queen bedroom easily gets off track and that bedroom is on the small size. The unit would benefit from having a vacuum cleaner available to renters. It would be easier to keep the place clean; a broom and dustpan doesn’t cut it. Sea Colony is very efficient and the elevators are readily available, a plus since we were on the seventh floor. All in all, would rent here again.

Amazing Views at the Beach
This condo is a wonderful rental! Our group rented three condos in the Sea Colony ocean front buildings. Our condo was the best! The views from the 7th floor are fabulous! The entire place was very clean and smelled good. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is extremely well stocked. Bringing our own sheets and towels worked out fine for us, but make sure you plan for that. Overall it was a great vacation!

Fantastic week in a fantastic condo!
We’ve been to Sea Colony three times, and this unit was by far the cleanest and most inviting. The view from the seventh floor balcony was spectacular - we had a great time watching the 4th of July fireworks from there, which we could see up and down the entire beach. Milanka was extremely responsive in answering our questions leading up to our stay. Overall, an extremely enjoyable experience.
