THINGS TO KNOW
Sea Colony - The Premier Family Beach & Tennis Resort Community features a half-mile of private beach, 12 pools (two indoor), world-class tennis, fitness centers, activities for all ages, a community shuttle, and year-round security. Sea Colony is ranked among Tennis magazine's Best U.S. Resorts and by Tennis Resorts Online as one of the finest in the world.
The Sea Colony Recreational Association requires a per-person resort fee for guests ages four years and older. This fee varies by time of year and is mandatory.
The north lobby/elevator will be blocked off for entry and exit on every floor from February 26, 2024, until May 20, 2024, to repair the elevator. The south lobby and elevators will be fully functional. An area under the garage will be blocked off and marked as "Construction Area". You will still have access to your vacation rental, but please use caution and keep in mind noise from the work may sometimes be audible.
Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

**Sea Colony will have ongoing construction from September through May. There will be construction noise that may be heard in the surrounding homes. Please be aware that this may be loud at times.

The best thing this place had going for it was the ocean view and the location. The place really needs a good deep clean and carpet/furniture replaced. Capet was stained and dirty as well as the furniture. Light switches were grimy along with remotes. Had to be careful in shower not to cut your foot because the drain cover was broken. It was a cute place and had plenty of ammenities.

Great condo!
The condo was really nice. It was spacious and decorated nicely. It was on the 5th floor and had great ocean views from the master bedroom, living room and the balcony. I would definitely stay there again.

Very Noise Pipes Kept Us Up
The unit was nice, the kitchen was well stocked but when we arrived the sliders and mirrors had been cleaned with a dirty rag and were filthy. We could live with that but not with the very loud water pipes. When anyone in the building ran the water it sounded like a loud whistling tea kettle went off in both bedrooms. It would start at 6am and go on and off throughout the day so we couldn't even take a nap to try to catch on sleep lost to the early morning wake up. And this was on our long awaited vacation. We reported this to the office in person and asked that someone also come to fix the loose headboard in the second bedroom that would bang against the wall. Someone came to fix the bed and could hear the pipe noise we described but there was not a word of follow up about when and if that would be fixed. I was stunned that no one checked back in to see if everything was satisfactory. Spending a very significant sum for a week at the beach shouldn't result in a funky, low rent experience. Also the perforated metal drain in the tub has edges sharp enough to cut skin and when in rained, water leaked into the living room through the slider. Most of these issues we'd over look but the noise was completely unacceptable. Not getting enough sleep is bad enough in real life - that's why we take vacations. I will use all websites available to steer people away from this property.. Someone was supposed to follow up with the noise issue after our second complaint but they didn't bother. I guess you're assuming we'd go home and forget about it but we haven't.
