"Nothing horrible to report. Good veggie options at the pub for dinner. The complimentary breakfast was as expected. The room was just a cramped room as advertised. The chairs were foot stools so working or eating at the fold out desk was awkward. Not bad overall just not a five star. "

The room was a little dated but had all we needed and was well maintained and clean which is more important than the era of furniture (think 1990s pine era). "Staed one night. Greeted at reception by a lovely lady. Very informative and friendly. Room 14 was a bit dated and tired. Bed not that comfortable but huge ! Pillows ok but one too little and 2 too much. Did not sleep well. Could hear every noise from people next door. Paintwork throughout hotel could do with a refresh. Carpets very worn in places. Service and food in restaurant was very good even though they were busy."

"Booked myself and my black Labrador in for 3 nights. Spacious room, nice decor and very clean. Comfy bed with plenty of pillows. The full English breakfast was spot on with good quality items. (Thank you Ben). All the staff were engaging and very helpful. Great value for money! Would highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again should I be down that way again."
