"The house was as advertised. It was spacious and homey, really nice for a family and a dog. The house is pretty open, easy to spread out or all get together to watch a show or a movie. The backyard is great if you’re bringing a dog. The only slight issue is that the rental house is connected to another house where the owners live, so if you’re looking for more privacy, you may want to take this fact into consideration. However, this wasn’t an issue for us. "

"We absolutely LOVED staying here! It was quiet and clean, and the host was very kind and responsive. The best part was Ranger, the cutest dog ever! We also enjoyed going on walks around the farm to look at the horses, chickens, turkeys, and sheep. We hope to come back next year! It was truly the perfect getaway. "

Also, you have other great places only about 20 minutes away (Jim Thorpe, Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Appalachian Trail). I,definitely, would stay again at this place!"

"We were hoping for a great escape for us and our granddaughters during their winter break and the Funky Dutchman did not disappoint! The gardens and zoo are surprisingly fun in the winter and Chocolate World can easily fill a day. Best of all, though, was hanging out at the house.
