"I will get negatives out of the way first, the listing says this is a working dairy farm however there is just a few cows and one pig. The grandchildren were looking forward to learning and watching milking etc but there was no opportunity to do this. Also we were told we could use the hot tub and pool when the weather improved however both were not ready for use in the 2 weeks we were there. "Booked at last minute for a short break with a friend. House had everything we needed for our stay. Owner lives in part of house next door but he keeps himself to himself and left us to it so it isn't an issue. Great location to discover places in the area. Only downside is nothing in walking distance for the evenings so you have to rely on a car but otherwise great."

The owners house was closer than it seems in the photos but she left us to ourselves unless we needed something. "We were here twice on a return travel from the Netherlands to the south of France. I would rate this location as OK for a transit, I would however not recommend staying here for a longer holiday because it is very noisy especially when there were other guests in the same building. "We were completely happy with this gorgeous cottage in a very sleepy and not too far removed village. Honfluer is only 10 mins drive away - perfect really. Considering the price, this is a five star rating for us. The place is clean and spacious. Beds are comfy! Shower is amazing! Wifi very strong. The host was very friendly and relaxed. Plenty of chopped wood for fire and bbq. Like I say - the ideal stay! We will come back some day! Especially for Pipa the sweet goat. : )"

"A very friendly and helpful host who set us up andade us feel very welcome. The house itself is well set up and is a great space for a family. It's a town house and faces a fairly busy road, but it's close to the seafront and we weren't aware of passing traffic once inside. It was a very rainy week so we didn't use the courtyard much but it look like a pleasant space for outdoor eating. Altogether a great town house over several floors."
